Moonbat mayor skips city’s Vet Day memorial
Mayor Gayle McLaughlin, the moonbat mayor of Richmond, California decided to skip her constituents’ memorial for Veterans’ Day so she could instead speak at the local Occupy Wall Street rally. Her justification? Well, she’ll be memorializing Iraq veteran Scott Olsen at the hippie convergence. From The Blaze;
“I choose to honor our veterans, not only on Veteran’s Day, but daily, by supporting an end to military warfare to prevent further fighting and dying in needless wars,” she said in an email. “I am a strong supporter of Veterans for Peace and Iraq Vets Against the War.”
So she only supports idiots who happen to be veterans. I thought elected executive politicians are supposed to support and represent ALL of their constituents, not just the ones with whom she agrees politically. I must be mistaken. And if she thinks that supporting IVAW and VFP is like supporting all veterans, she had better start asking them for their DD214s, because apparently she doesn’t know what we here at TAH know.
Honestly, I think veterans in Richmond are better off without the ugly cow at their ceremony, what with her hairy legs and distinctive odor of urine and filth.
Thanks to Flagwaver for the link.

“Honestly, I think veterans in Richmond are better off without the ugly cow at their ceremony, what with her hairy legs and distinctive odor of urine and filth.”
She shouldn’t defile the event with her presence.
I read this and blood began spurting out of my eyes from the rise in my blood pressure. This twit doesn’t know the first thing about what these protesters want. If it were up to them, she would have her head cut off in the town square along with the rich.
She really IS better off with her own kind instead of defiling a Veterans Memorial or demeaning our collective service by displacing air among veterans.
If she doesn’t want to go; fine, but don’t show your face when you want donations from the VFW or American Legion the next time you have a project in the community done, either.
If the MSM hadn’t reported her absence, would anyone have noticed?
It’s Cali, dude.
What does one call a veteran in Cali?
Trapped!
What does one call a soldier in Cali?
A tourist from Texas.
Dave, I was going to post the same idea. As for the mayor asking for a DD214, she wouldn’t know the difference between a DD214 and a tampon.
Is it no surprise with her moonbat leadership, Richmond, CA was ranked as the sixth dangerous city in the nation. Anytime you drove across the Richmond/San Rafael bridge from Marin, you drove through Richmond, you didn’t stop.
“I choose to honor our veterans, not only on Veteran’s Day, but daily, by supporting an end to military warfare to prevent further fighting and dying in needless wars.” Okay, but somebody needs to inform her that veterans have finished their military servive. If she wants to support those things, they affect active duty people, not veterans. Lunkhead.
Someone needs to read a bit of Heinlein to her:
“You can have peace, or you can have freedom. Don’t ever count on having both at once.”
Quoting a science fiction writer to justify killing people in the real world. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. As to the aroma of “urine and filth”, I thought that was coming from a certain writer in W. Virginia.
So sayeth the non-serving fuckstick.
Oh, and for the record, Joe–Heinlein was a vet.
Joe, Joe, Joe; why do you do this to yourself? Do you like getting whooped on the internet? Well, you’ve certainly come to the right place.
As for your extremely weak and lame attempt to deflect towards Jonn about the aroma of urine……I know it’s hard to admit the truth, that the occupy encampments are nothing but cesspools of filth and fermenting diseases just waiting to spring free. Have you not been paying attention? Denial isn’t a river in Egypt.
If I’ve said it once I’ve said twice, maybe three times;it ain’t called the left coast for nothin’.
“Quoting a science fiction writer to justify killing people in the real world.” Dammit Joey, there you go again. just yesterday I urged you to read Strunk and White’s booklet, Thhe Elements of Style. In it you’ll learn that sentences require subjects. Did a fellow occupier swipe all of yours or what?
Zucotti Park, once it is no longer occupied, will take years to recover from the abuse put into the ground by the occupiers.
What nature builds, and man preserves, is destroyed by the anarchists still occupying the park.
Pssst, AirCav? Perhaps that IS the subject? Maybe with his/her inability to focus, it’s and either/or situation??
Or maybe something else entirely. 😉
Or even AN either/or situation.
(Fat Finger Syndrome…)
I swear, One person mentions salad being tossed in a prison on another post, and out pops Joey…Coincidence or not?you be the judge…
OT, Joey has a real need to get beaten up, whether live or on the net. For proof, he keeps coming back to TAH.
Oh, I know you’re just an Occutard at heart and, self-admittedly, didn’t serve, so why don’t you just STFU?
The second paragraph was just for Joey. Damn, where’s the “edit” button?
This subhuman moron obviously missed the point of veteran’s day. The veterans who deserve more thanks than any of us are the ones that can’t hear you anymore, not rejects and failures like Scott Olsen and Shamar Thomas. Or maybe they can hear us, who knows?
I just saw that business owners at one of the occupy sites are going to launch anti-occupier protests of their own. Here’s where the real fun begins. I am sure the occupiers will be respectful and tolerant of the businessmen and women protestors. After all, it’s all about the First Amendment they say.
Shhhh!!! Don’t say anything like “launch” near Scott Olsen. He may soil himself!
