Islam in prisons

| June 16, 2011

Fox News reports on the House Homeland Security Committee, chaired by Peter King is conducting another round of hearings into the threat of the radicalization of Islamists in America. This round is looking into the effects of people in prison. Catherine Herridge reporting;

Of course, very few inmates have been influenced to commit terrorist acts thus far, as the sociologist in the video says, but that doesn’t mean that it won’t become a problem in the near future. Only Jose Padilla can be lumped into the converted prisoner terrorist crowd, but the potential is glaring.

Back when I was working for a security company (3rd shift) in Richardson, TX, I would see articles in the WSJ concerning Imams visiting prisons to preach to the prisoners. As I’m in a move & the rest is in storage, I’m not sure just which box(es) has copies of those articles (I’m a historian, of sorts).

Frankly Opinionated

Muslims everywhere bitch about everything, but in this instance, many muslim prisoners complain that they don’t have the proper respect, halal food, etc. I would suggest that we accomodate them. Put all Muslim prisoners, across America, (state, federal, whatever), in Muslim only prisons. They would have the privacy their cult demands, and for the rest of us, they would not have the ability to recruit from the empty headed assholes who find themselves in prison. Win/win, as I see it.
