Everybody’s watching what’s going on in Beijing right now with the Olympics. Think about the amount of money that China has spent on infrastructure. Their ports, their train systems, their airports are all vastly the superior to us now, which means if you are a corporation deciding where to do business … you’re starting to think, “Beijing looks like a pretty good option.” Why aren’t we doing the same thing?

So, it turns out that Maoism is the change he’s been talking about all of this time. The transcript also reveals that Obama doesn’t understand business either. Does he honestly think that businesses would choose China over the US because of the train system and disregard the over-regulation of foreign entities?
So Obama is hoping we just focus on the Olympic coverage and draw the conclusions he has from just watching television. That’s how stupid he thinks we are – the world is only what NBC shows us.

My kid just came back from China about 6 weeks ago and literally kissed the ground upon return to American soil.
The museums in downtown Peiking don’t have toilet paper and American style “fixtures”. Some places that do, you don’t flush the paper, it goes into a basket without a lid.
Feces and urine are all over the lavatory.
If you wore shorts, and/or sandels, you need to clean up when you got back to the hotel.
Eat enough of the locally prepared food, you get sick, so clean and cook your own.

I suppose that is a true and correct statement,,,,,,if you are describing the routes to the Olympics venue. Why would a country, any country, build a facade in front of its shops if they weren’t absolute eyesores? Colorado, years ago, had excellent highways…..From the airport to the Ski areas. The rest of the state sucked!
