First
The king has to go to work.
Get back here, you aren’t done yet.
D’oh! Hack was prepping his comment when the Holiday Open Thread dropped. He will have to be satisfied with the Bronze.
I have taken my throne at my desk to appease the peasants that come in on their days off to mess with me.
As today is being observed in America as President’s Day, Hack Stone would like to bring to your attention that despite the best efforts of the Woke Left, funded by the Chinese Communist Party, to express their displeasure of Donald J. Trump being duly elected by securing a majority of the popular vote and electoral college, America has already had a King in The White House, 38th President Gerald R. Ford, who was born Leslie Lynch King Jr, and despite his name not matching his name on his birth certificate, was able to vote in federal elections.
A bit of additional trivia, historians have called the resignation of Richard Nixon as President of The United States in August 1974 unpresidented.
Of course…

Present!
I will take the third today.
On my way to the bone Dr. this morning to have my trick knee examined. Perhaps a shot of cortisone will fix me up, if not maybe a bionic knee is in my future! Getting old is not fun.
Mrs. GB had a full knee replacement a few years back. With the new robotic equipment to ensure, beyond even the best human, alignment of the various moving parts hers has been great.
A friend of ours who had her knees done, but without the robot tool, has some misalignment and an occasional problem.
Hope things go well for you.
Thanks, a bit concerned, but hopeful for good outcome.
4th? Earlier than i have been lately.
I claim 5th, preferably a smooth Kentucky Bourbon.
And following the example of the King of this HOT, SgtM, I also gotta go to work.
See ya later.
Woodford Reserve. Double oaked. Straight up, no ice.
Ted Levine (who played Buffalo Bill) whines about being in Silence of the Lambs as it’s politically incorrect for proggies now:

Robert Duvall has passed. RIP.
I saw that, one of my favorites. RIP
I don’t think he ever made a bad movie. And kept his politics private.
