Moonbattery reaches new heights
When a small city is packed with news cameras and satellite trucks, it’s inevitable that every crackpot with something to say will show up, and that’s what we’ve got in Denver this week. Folks we haven’t heard in so long are busting ass to Denver so’s they can get in front of the cameras.
Like Cindy Sheehan;
Ron Kovic;
Cynthia McKinney;
And, of course, the original phony, Ward Churchill;
Where there are cameras, can Code Pink and IVAW be too far away? Of course not;
Notice the IVAW fellows are missing their big guns (I know Army Sergeant, Geoff Millard and Adam Kokesh are around there somewhere, but I didn’t see them in the video. There must’ve been some big planning meeting or something). Ya’all might want to try a different strategy than shouting “Shame” at people who don’t agree with your ideas. It won’t attract anyone except more sociopaths. The IVAW crowd is looking more like everyday run-of-the-mill anarchists.
So who are these groups in Denver? CQ reports;
Anarchists and activists, hippies and clowns, veterans, artists, immigrants, environmentalists and other enlistees in the army of the disaffected have descended on Denver for a week of demonstrations with a multitude of agendas.
This loose amalgamation of groups has two main missions for convention week. They want to bring their various messages to the attention of delegates from around the country in an effort to influence discussion within the party. And they hope to use the convention as a catalyst for reviving activist movements across the country.
Spokesmen for several of the protest groups say they have taken their inspiration from the anti-Vietnam War generation and hope to rekindle the spirit of that era. Others want to take advantage of the convention to bolster their movement’s infrastructure.
In other words, every crackpot organization which has lost it’s cachet with success in Iraq and their losses in the streets to Gathering of Eagles, Eagles Up, Protest Warriors, Patriot Guard Riders and the countless other organizations that have sprung up in the last year and a half that support our foreign policy and make crackpots look like, well, crackpots.
In Denver, they figure they don’t have to share the cameras with the saner organizations.
Yesterday, Little Green Footballs announced that Pajamas Media, LGF and my mentor, Zombie are teaming up for Convention coverage this week, so keep looking out.

“The IVAW crowd is looking more like everyday run-of-the-mill anarchists.”
But the anarchists have a plan…and a clue.
BTW, their numbers are pitiful.
Oh, just wait until the RNC then the nuts will be out in force.
Raoul…I beg to differ on the Anarchrists having a clue

Someone notify the local farmers co-op, a pig farmer has a fence down.
Watched the first minute of Ward Churchill, (don’t need to agravate my ulcer with more), and wonder; why does he wear indian beaded stuff like the band on his hat? He is not an indian, not at all; just a wannabe indian, and wannabe artist, and wannabe professor.
