Chuck Norris Says…
Top 10 U.S. Shariah infiltrations, Part 2
While all eyes this week are on London’s royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton, my eyes were on an opening statement from the U.K.’s Daily Mail Reporter: “Women who do not wear headscarves are being threatened with violence and even death by Islamic extremists intent on imposing shariah law on parts of Britain.”
And even though I’m hesitant to mention Pastor Terry Jones and Chuck Norris in the same post, the recent events in Detroit should be ringing alarms bells too.
Is Sharia Law in this country our most immediate threat – probably not, but we certainly need to acknowledge that it IS a threat.
Category: Pointless blather, Politics
MI has fallen. Sounds like Sharia trumps the Constitution there.
The SCOTUS says you can be a vile, disgusting, POS by protesting the funerals of fallen soldiers, because it’s protected speech, but a “jury” in Dearbornistan says that it’s a “breech of peace” to protest outside of a mosque? Riiiiight.
Well, OT, that’s because vets and their families probably won’t cut anyone’s throats or set off any car bombs.
The vile Pastor discharged a firearm in a parking lot….He is seeking and receiving publicity….We should just ignore him.
Marvin #4: I might agree with your opinion concerning Jones, but the court decision in his case was inappropriate, to say the least.
Where’s NotSoOldMarine? I thought we were all alarmists….
You are, even if Jones got a raw deal here. I got a hearty laugh out of “Michigan has fallen to Sharia” though. Good times.
These “examples” are ridiculous. Norris gives us no links or reference material and the facts are spotty at best.
Example #1 Muzzammil Hassan is serving 25 to life for the murder of his wife. If Sharia Law was actually a threat he would be free.
Example#2 was harder to track down. But, from what I can tell, this was a case where the couple had been divorced and now the wife claims she was raped during the marraige. There were no previous criminal complaints and no indicatiuon that the woman was in danger now. Without evidence how could a judge have ruled differently?
Example #3 This was an interesting one. A disagreement within a mosque where an Imam had already settled the dispute was brought to court. At issue was whether the imam had applied Sharia correctly. Here, Norris might have a point. However, since it is a land dispute and there have been similiar cases involving Rabinical Courts, I’m not really concerned.
Example #4 (My favorite) Is not an example of anything. 15 States wanting to limit the use of Sharia or Foregin laws in their states does not indicate that a problem exists. But rather that someone of influence thinks it exists. I am guessing that when these states find that foreign companies cannot do business in their states, the resulting ecconomic ruin will force the laws to be reversed. But, Whatever.
I am not going to attempt the last one because it requires more research than I am willing to give it on my vaction.
In short, all smoke no fire. The total gym rocks Norris should stick to that.
