Election Night Live Blog

| November 2, 2010

This is sticky at the top of the page, so my co-bloggers can write more posts which will appear below this post. I’m just posting this so the inexperienced will know what the rest of us are talking about.

The live blogging begins at 7:00 PM (Eastern Time) even though I goofed it up and made the screen announce it at 7AM.

Sign in with your screen name or just lurk whichever makes you most comfortable.

Check your spam folder for an invitation to the live blog – several people who expressed an interest got them so I don’t have to moderate their comments. I’m limited in the number for whom I can do that, so don’t feel bad if you didn’t get one. I can add some when the program starts, so email me if you want the convenience.

There’s a button to add a link to your Facebook page if you want your friends to come on in, too. The more the merrier.

I’ll be at a campaign event (drinking a few toasts I imagine) until around 9pm; so you characters will have to start the drinking game unsupervised. Whatever you do, don’t try to drive. This is going to be a long night and the hangover that I foresee tomorrow will truly be a glorious thing.
