Vets for NY support Paladino

| October 5, 2010

Army veteran Carl Paladino, who is running for the governorship of New York against Washington favorite Andrew Cuomo has won the endorsement of the Veterans For New York;

Said VFNY founder Kieran Michael Lalor, “Carl Paladino tells it like it is, he doesn’t owe any favors and has shown time and again during this campaign that he doesn’t mind shaking up the status quo. This is precisely the kind of leader we need to end the dysfunction and runaway spending in Albany.”

Alan Colmes interviewed Paladino yesterday and Paladino threatened to arrest Cuomo for his pay for play lifestyle at about 5:20.

So, I’m guessing that VoteVets will be backing Paladino any minute now.

Who the hell are Vets for NY and why do they smoke crack? Paladino is stark raving insane and threatens reporters randomly. We don’t need this dude for dogcatcher in NY. This shouldn’t be used against VoteVets any more than them failing to endorse Alvin Greene was.

“Paladino is stark raving insane and threatens reporters randomly.”
==========

What I read/heard is that reporters were going after his 10-year old daughter — or thinking of going after her, making her an issue in the campaign — and he told the reporter in no uncertain terms that if they did that, they would regret it. In other words, Paladino acted in a way that any other parent would if the MF-ing media were going after their children.

In other words, there was nothing “random” about Paladino’s threat to the reporter. He was defending his child against the MF-ing media.

In addition to what I stated above, apparently the NY Post wrote a story on Paladino’s daughter and sent a photographer to her house to get a picture of her. That is what pissed off Paladino. In addition to the NY Post apparently being in the tank for Cuomo.

So it was not “random”. He was justified in being “stark raving insane” and threatening the reporter to back off his 10-year old daughter.

He was also rightly pissed off that the MF-ing media was doing its usual crap in digging into the personal lives of Republican candidates and not doing the same with the Democrat candidates. Usually, Republican candidates don’t fight back against this BS. Paladino is choosing to fight back. I say… good for him.

The NY Post, that hot bed of liberalism!

Paladino made his money off of corrupt govt contracts! Believing what Paladino says is as dumb as believing Cuomo. Both are just saying what you want to hear.

Yeah, the NY Post usually leans conservative, but, as noted HERE, Dicker seems to be supporting Cuomo in his articles.

And pretty much 99% of politicians are corrupt and say what people want to hear. But the ‘rule’ for conservatives is to vote for the most conservative candidate in the GOP Primary and then the ‘lesser of two evils’ in the general election. In this political climate, the lesser of two evils is almost always a Republican over a Democrat. The only exception is when the Republican is a RINO or DIABLO.

From what I have read, there are some who consider Paladino to be NY’s version of NJ Governor Chris Christie. I’m not sure if that is the case, since I don’t live in NY and so I haven’t really paid attention to the GOV race other than sparingly. But Paladino seems to have gained a lot of ground on Cuomo lately and be within 6 points, so apparently he is impressing a lot of NY Staters. Which might be why the biggest story being focused on is not anything to do with Paladino’s policies, but instead something irrelevant in his personal history.
