2d SEAL not guilty

| April 23, 2010

Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan Keefe was found not guilty after a day-long trial and two hours of deliberation (AP Link);

Keefe was not charged with assaulting terror suspect Ahmed Hashim Abed, but of failing to protect him in the hours after he was captured and brought to a U.S. military base on Sept. 1, 2009.

One more, Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew McCabe, whose trial is set for May 3rd for the actual alleged assault on Ahmed Hashim Abed.

As I stated before, I can only hope all of them walk, including Petty Officer McCabe. A love-tap in the tummy to subdue a prisoner? I’m pretty sure I “suffered” worse when I crossed the Equator and did the Shellback ceremony. I’m just afraid their careers are pretty well ruined already.

Who’s the numbnut ri-tard who thought charging these guys was a good idea?

I agree – my growth was stunted by the kissing of King Neptune’s belly!!

The convening authority is MG Charles T. Cleveland, SOCCENT/CC.

PO McCabe’s attorney, Neal Puckett, “is now calling upon Major General Cleveland to dismiss the charges against the remaining Navy SEAL, SO2 Matthew McCabe. To proceed with the trial against SO2 McCabe would be a tremendous waste of tax payer money.” http://www.puckettfaraj.com/2010/04/navy-seal-so2-keefe-found-not-guilty/

And I pray to God you are wrong about their careers being ruined — I pray to God !!

That’s two in a row, and one more to go.
God willing. . .

With NHSparky on that one. I went through a lot worse having fun crossing the equator almost thirty years ago.
And score two for the Good Guys! Holder and Napolitano are probably having apoplectic fits over this one.
