In Matthis’ defense…
Look, I said something the other day and got the shit beat out of me. I accept that. But, you know, you guys are really really unfair at times. And I am referring of course to your uncalled for comments about Matthis and MLK. When I first read Matthis’ diatribe, I finally felt that sense of deja vu set free, like it had been trapped in the back of my cerebrum or cerebellum or whatever it is. Anyway, when I read that, it was a total Eureka moment, at last, I knew who it was that Matthis reminded me of.
And to prove it, I intend to go through MLK’s Wiki page, and show you the similiarities. And shame on you bastards for the mean comments you made. May the Holiest of Holies have mercy on your blighted souls.
MLK: Married Coretta Scott, on June 18, 1953 in Heiberger, Alabama, was married 15 years.
MC: May have banged a 15 year old filipino prostitute, and then got more hookers in Heidelberg.
MLK: led the 1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott.
MC: shared a cot with a boy on numerous occasions.
MLK: Gave the “I have a Dream” speech.
MC: Lost ability to speak once while having fantasies from hallucinogenic mushrooms.
MLK: Nobel Peace Prize, Presidential Medal of Freedom, Congressional Gold Medal in 2004, second in Gallup’s List of Widely Admired People in the 20th century, Time Person of the Year and in 2000, King was voted sixth in the Person of the Century poll by the same magazine King was elected third in the Greatest American contest conducted by the Discovery Channel and AOL.
MC: Army service ribbon, General discharge.
MLK: attended Booker T. Washington High School, entered Morehouse College at age fifteen without formally graduating from high school. In 1948, he graduated from Morehouse with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology, and enrolled in Crozer Theological Seminary in Chester, Pennsylvania, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity degree in 1951. King then began doctoral studies in systematic theology at Boston University and received his Doctor of Philosophy on June 5, 1955, with a dissertation on “A Comparison of the Conceptions of God in the Thinking of Paul Tillich and Henry Nelson Wieman.”
MC: Dropped out of school to be an indepandant pharmaceutical sales rep out in the woods. Falsified VA GI BIll documents to secure school payments.
MLK: Has a federal holiday in honor of him.
MC: Treats every day like a holiday.
There must be some of you that recognize how seamless this comparison is. I encourage you to add more in the comments section.
Category: Politics
Man, that was too funny.
MLK: Encouraged respectful treatment of women of all races.
Matthis: Rapes one girl, blames it on the Army.
Hears another girl getting raped, and once the “Soldier” committing the act confirms what he did, Matthis takes no action. Clearly, making him now party to another rape.
Uses young, naive girls to mooch off of.
MLK: Humble, puts his cause before himself. Clearly takes true, real-life risks for what he believes in.
Matthis: Makes a big scene of not going to Iraq on his IRR call, using the lack of knowledge by many non-military activists to hide the fact that all he had to do was not show up. Therefore, not actually risking anything.
Uses a cause only to feed his own sense of self-worth.
Now a different comparison:
Casey J Porter: Good looking with great taste in cars (CAMARO)
Matthis: Skinny junkie with no car.
CJP: Took real risks for what he believed in and to help Soldiers in need. Still helps other Soldiers even though he is out of the Army.
Matthis: Risked nothing, helps no one but himself.
CJP: Wonderfully narcissistic with a healthy dose of asshole.
Matthis: Annoyingly narcissistic with an unhealthy dose of self-absorbed, over blown sense of self-worth.
CJP: Good looking.
Matthis: Not as good looking as me.
I know I said that before above, but it bears repeating.
Thanks, guys.
(mutters as he cleans spewed coffee off of monitor)
That pic alone made my day!
MLK
Was affected by the horrors and abuses he witnessed during the Civil Rights struggle. Used these experiences to help better the lives of a people.
MC
Was affected by hearing the stories of people who witnessed the horrors of warfare. Uses these “experiences” to get people to help him better his life.
After reading your article I can barely tell any difference between Mathis and MLK…wow their lives are totally parallel.
Another seamless comparison:
MLK often appears in images with the American flag proudly displayed as a backdrop.
MC often appears in images proudly burning it.
I’ve got nothing to add.
Sigh.
Umm…I think you already said it all, AW1. 😉
MLK: Walked the streets of the South in the face of police dogs and water hoses for the rights of all.
MC: Runs from water hoses and is humped by stray dogs.
MLK- Travelled across the the South to peaceably demonstrate on behalf of civil rights until the politicians could no longer ignore the injustice of our laws.
MC- Shamelessly travelling from one ignorant girl’s jouse to another until they wised up and sent his no good ass packing.
MLK: Brought people of all races and colors together to stand for the dignity an equality of the oppresseed.
MC: Brought four or five fellow ingrates (and one camera) together to stand for the right of anyone, no matter how stupid, to exercise their first amendment rights.
MLK: Sacificed smears to his reputation, violence, and eventually his life in the cause of justice.
MC: Sacrificed the money and support of naive fellow leftists, eighth hand PTSD, and a serious case of VD to freeload his way through life and espouse his idiocy.
There. I feel better now.
And I swear the guy to the right of the cop looks like a young Barry Sotero.
Thanks TJ, I’d focused on Matthis and never noticed….Maybe he thought it was a leftist rally?
Truth is stranger than fiction! He’ll go anywhere for some publicity.
Reminds of Forrest Gump…appearing in all those historical events.
“Matthis: Not as good looking as me.”
You are too kind to Matthis, the drugs are makin’ him look like Skeletor.
Then I guess that makes me He-Man.
MLK: Addressed 10’s of Thousands and inspired millions with “I have a dream” speech.
Matthis: No one listens to him and he inspires loathing and pity.
MLK – “The good neighbor looks beyond external accidents and discerns those inner qualities that make all men human and, therefore, brothers.”
MC – “I’m going to crawl through my neighbor’s window and wheezle my way out of returning her money… oh, and then I’m going to attemt to sue my roommate for rent that he owed for those three months he didn’t live in my apartment.”
