Big Surprise! Deb Medina (Paulbot-Truther) Refuses to Support Winner of GOP Primary
Just got this article emailed to me from an old friend in Texas.
Sadly, I am not surprised one bit.
LUBBOCK – Candidate for the Republican nomination for Texas governor Debra Medina, in a Thursday appearance on radio show Pratt on Texas, refused to commit to support the Republican nominee for Texas governor if she is not the Party’s nominee. Medina hinted at there being other candidates on the November ballot she might support.
Pratt on Texas host Robert Pratt asked Ms. Medina, the former Wharton County chairwoman, “If you run through this election and are not the nominee of the Republican Party, will you wholeheartedly endorse and support the Party’s nominee or is there some threat of some type of outside movement there?”
“I think it’s premature to be talking about that,” replied Medina.
“So in other words, even though we do know that the nominee will be one of three people, Rick Perry, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, or yourself, you’re not willing to go on the record saying that if you’re not the nominee you would support the Party’s ticket?,” Pratt asked.
“Absolutely not,” Medina said.
“Surely you understand that there may be other candidates besides a Republican and a Democrat on the ballot come next November,” she added later.
“Ms. Medina wants Republican voters to trust her with their vote but, she isn’t willing to trust the judgment of those same voters if they should nominate someone other than her,” Pratt told his audience after the interview.
There may well be other candidates on the ballot in November other than Republican or Democrat Deb and I suggest you throw your considerable political capital in their support.

You know, sometimes I write this stuff just to piss off the Paulbots out there but I swear it works every time.

With all the info about her out there before the primary, please explain to me why anyone took her seriously. Elvis factor, perhaps?
Debra Medina is a 9/11 Truther (i.e., a whackjob liberal just like cynthia mckinney) who attempted to subvert the TEA Party. Remember Scozzafozza in NY? She’s just another lib trying to take down the R’s.

This is complete bullshit. You know I am no “Paulbot” but I have several friends who worked on this campaign and was in contact with them throughout the run. Ron Paul did not endorse her run. So I want to see proof where she has said she was a truther and a how she conducts herself like a “paulbot”. Real tangible proof. Because she has stated on numerous occasions that she is not a truther.
To be clear, I think everyone knows I am not a Ron Paul supporter or a truther, I just have to call bullshit when I see it.

Beck asked Medina about rumors that she’s a “9/11 truther,” an individual who believes the government may have been involved in the Sept. 11 attacks.
“I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard,” Medina responded. “There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there. So I have not taken a position on that.”
“I think the American people might take that as a yes,” Beck laughed. After the call ended, he said, “Rick, I think you and I could French kiss right now.”
That right there is a “truther” I don’t care who you are!
Wow, that is proof to you??? How dare someone question their government in a free nation! Besides Beck is highly unethical and is not to be taken seriously. Really, bring some more proof then this weak sauce crap.
And what “proof” do you have that Beck is unethical, Casey? That sword cuts both ways.
Beck invited her on the show, during that interview she was answering the question, he then muted her, without her knowledge, then he began to talk again and do his over the top ranting. She was still answering the question, because the person being muted would not know the difference. So what you are getting is an incomplete answer. It was a set-up. Also, 7 minutes later an ad from the Perry campaign aired featuring a portion of the interview. So they knew what was coming, and where ready to take advantage of it.
I remember getting phone calls in regards to what happened, and I know a lot about editing and have co-host a radio show myself from time to time so I do have experience in things like this. Well, I should be clear that I do not pull crap like this.
