Liberals lead off the week

I know, it really isn’t fair to pick on the poor liberals again… but they just give you so much to work with. Like when Dave King of “Flogging Molly” thanked the Church for being such a source of inspiration for so many songs, generally all I have to look for is one of a large group to be running their yap and I am guaranteed something to ponder on… and laugh at.
Our headline this week is a leftist podcast host (doesn’t that mean he just talks into a mike in his basement?) name of Touré who managed to dissolve a CNN panel into chaos.
“He supposedly got shot in the ear. We never heard from his doctors about that,” Touré said, triggering CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings who demanded that host Abby Phillip step in to correct the record.
As Jennings sought the moderator, Touré raised his voice and continued to press his point.
“When did we hear from his doctors? When did we hear from his doctors?” he asked.
Phillip tried to calm the clash, stating, “Hold on. If you all stop screaming at the table, maybe I can actually respond.”
Apparently this yo-yo doesn’t realize that Rep. Ronny Jackson (aka ADM Jackson, aka Dr. Jackson, Obama’s and Trump’s former White House physician ) examined Trump and said the wound was from a bullet. Jackson has probably been a doctor longer than this Touré person has been breathing.
“But can we hear from the doctors? We would always hear from his doctors when he gets shot?” he asked.
Phillip punted the question to Jennings. The commentator replied, “I mean, all I know is, I went to the Republican National Convention and he had a bandage on his ear.”
As the pundit spoke, Touré kept interjecting, “That would be ‘no.’ That would be ‘no’. That would be ‘no.’”Fox News
I am sure you all remember Hitler’s phrase “big lie” and its parallel, “repeat a lie often enough and people will believe it.” This clown is obviously an advocate of THAT principle.

And in other big news, Stephen Colbert’s show is being cancelled next year. The horror! Leftist heads are exploding, SEN Warren (yes, Fauxcahontas) thinks Presidential pressure from Mr. Trump is responsible, various versions of that theme are circulating on the interwebz, celebrities are rushing to publicly Demand Colbert Reinstatement! ‘cuz it was all due to dirty politics. The NY Post has a slightly different take on things:
CBS brass say they pulled the plug on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” because of its punishing losses — pegged between $40 million and $50?million a year — and claim politics had nothing to do with it, The Post has learned.
But scathing jokes at the expense of CBS brass wasn’t the problem, according to insiders.
Instead, the network’s bosses could no longer stomach the fact that Colbert has been plagued with an increasingly dire shortage of advertisers.
That’s despite Colbert’s No, 1 ratings in his time slot and his status as a key face for the Tiffany Network.
In the end, Paramount’s co-CEO George Cheeks decided to kill the show, sources said.
“Colbert gets no advertising and late night is a tough spot,” said a person with direct knowledge of CBS’s decision.
“Colbert might be No. 1, but who watches late night TV anymore?”NY Post
Oh, that. Me, I am just shocked that they are keeping the show ON until May 2026 with losses like that.
Category: Democrats, Liberals suck, None, Politics

Keeping that show on until May 2026 may be a contract thing. But what do I know?
What will CBS do to fill the midnight time slot after they cancel both Colbert and the Late Show? Play the Star Spangled Banner and then a series of screen saver pics?
It’s possible that it’s cheaper to continue losing money while still employing this douche nozzle than it would be to outright fire him. You may be correct that it’s a contract thing between him and CBS, but also with whatever advertisers they may have as well. They would want unused portions of their contracts reimbursed as well.
I’m sure all of this is sticking in their craw, and the bean counters are none too pleased. The lawers have looked for ways to get out of it and have most likely decided it’s cheaper to pay than fold.
This may be the perfect time for colbert to go off script and attack CBS in the same manner as Trump on the way out the door. What are they going to do, fire him?
Stephan Colbert might be remembering they could fire him the way Howard Beale was fired.
Undoutedly, when ol’ Lopear was told his show was being cancelled, he likely instructed his lawer to threaten CBS with a lawsuit. He probably has some time to run on his contract anyway, so CBS’s lawers recommended paying him and keeping the show on until next May as the cheaper alternative.
Why does the phrase “Targets of opportunity” come to mind?
Or “Low hanging fruit”?
Just point and laugh and then return to doing adult stuff.
I was thinking “fish in a barrel”.
Target rich environment fits as well.
“He supposedly got shot in the ear. We never heard from his doctors about that,” Touré said
And I suppose the civilian that was actually killed that day died from what?? Collateral lies? You should let his family know—maybe he’s still alive!
And that guy on the roof was firing paint balls?
“It was after the loud noise when he clumsily fell down. Probably cut it on the podium or something. Who did kill that fireman? I’m not saying Trump is responsible but he was awful close to that guy during the speech. How do we know it wasn’t Trump? Let’s say he falls down and shoots the fireman and then the Secret Service lady covers for him. I’m not saying that happened but it could have.”
– Wolf Blitzer
Did he really say it? It sounds made up. But at the same time, it sounds exactly like what they would say.
I’ll never tell, seems plausible.
Seth Dillion has a nice video out there where he explains they have hard time making up headlines the last few years because they already sound like satire.
I haven’t Colbert since he was on Comedy Central decades ago. Who watches late night TV? Nobody any more. If I’m home I’m in bed, if I’m out I’m not watching TV.
I am out drinking beer, shooting pool and chasing quiff.
I’m cleaning up dog puke and trying to get back to sleep.
I watch The First 48, and other crime shows when I’m up late. Screw all of those far left a-holes on the alphabet networks.
I love those Tulsa homicide detectives. Supposedly, they solve about 85% of their cases. But their killers tend to be rather low I.Q., so it is often not much of a mystery to figure out who done it. I read that the national average for solving murders/homicides is only about 50%.
I am surprised they just didn’t rename the show to colbert and the demokrat national party hour. I never watched any of his crap outside of the commercials advertising it that I couldn’t avoid while watching local news.
Good, now do The View.
“…do The View.”
Dangit, Hack. There goes my appetite.
You know what he meant.
Get’cher mind out’ta the gutter.
Someone has to take a bullet for the team.
Well, Democrats scraping bottom o’ barrel for TDS ranting in support of illegal aliens. (Lars, you should be offended.) None of than the dude who couldn’t go 1 whole MUTA without pissing hot:

Is he pissed the gravy train has left the station, or that he now has to buy (with his own money, heh heh) the garden variety street cocaine and not the top shelf stuff he was accustomed to?
Don’t know what’s sadder, that they’re making him work for his blow this way or that they couldn’t get anyone better.

The guy kicked out of the Navy after receiving not one, but two waivers? The guy who was banging his dead brother’s wife and getting her hooked on crack. Has he been told that no one gives a shit what he thinks? The well has run dry at Biden, Incorporated. Time for a real job.
Especially after his brother has been killed in Iraq. Levirate marriage is a thing in some religions but FWB, isn’t.
Iraq? I thought it was at the battle of bull run near wounded knee.
Or was it with George Washington as they rowed across the me Kong delta to battle the Germans. Or was it the Japanese at the Alamo.
I could be wrong, as it’s happened before.
There is a lot more to that interview of America’s favorite boyish crackhead up to his hijinks. There is a reason that the administration never let him in front of a camera.

Hunter’s rant continues… about George Clooney (who’d probably play him in the movie for Hunter’s 2¢, until this):

PHUQUE THEEM!
CBS loses $40,000,000 a year airing The Late Show with Steven Colbert. The WNBA loses $40,000,000 a year keeping their league on life support. Now hear Hack out before you say no. CBS broadcasts WNBA games at 23:30, and Steven Colbert does the play by play.
They running joke is that the ladies of the WNBA demanded they be paid what they were worth and received a bill for $40,000,000.
I haven’t watched an NBA game in this century, WNBA is even worse. I’d rather watch Tom Homan press conferences on loop.
Regarding the current deleveraging of interenched propagandists flooding our airwaves:
Many called for the hanging of Tokyo Rose post conflict.
Not advocating it but I won’t not buy tickets. Jussayn.
Gosh, what was their first clue? /sarc… Microsoft to finally stop using folk in China to do U.S. defense work:

Oh, in totally unrelated news (I’m sure /sarc) Microsoft admits Chicom-backed hackers broke into National Nuclear Security Admin’s SharePoint somehow:

It’s really a shame ol’ Lop-ear is going off the air. Now I won’t have to see his ugly mug as I scroll through the channels during late night. The Progs are all screaming the cancellation is an assault on the First Amendment, which is absurd cuz it doesn’t apply to private media corporations. The show was cancelled because it loses 40 million dollars every year.
There is nothing like giving a microphone to a know-nothing Prog and watching them spew made-up BS (propaganda lies).
