By Elliott Greene
An early morning shooting at 5900 Elm Street has left a 17-year-old male dead and another man, age 34, injured. The incident, which occurred shortly after 1 a.m. today, is set to be examined by a Harris County grand jury, based on details provided by the Houston Police Department (HPD).Officers arrived on the scene to find the younger male unresponsive in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. Paramedics from Houston Fire Department declared the individual deceased. The older male had already been transported to a hospital by private vehicle and is expected to recover. A statement obtained by the City of Houston’s official news site indicated that the shooting resulted from an attempted robbery by two suspects on an armed individual, who then returned fire, killing one of the suspects.
The surviving suspect remains at large and has been described as a Hispanic male, aged between 18 to 20, standing somewhere between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall.

JENSEN BEACH, Fla.
Video shows the moments a couple chased off a man attempting to enter their home. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 46-year-old Jonathan Richards after several people reported Richards attempting to enter their homes. Sheriff John Budensiek said the incidents happened late Tuesday night along Ocean Boulevard in Jensen Beach.
WPBF 25 News spoke with two victims, Lisa and Chris, who caught the suspect on camera and the interaction that followed.
“I was sleeping, and I heard a noise, and I said to my husband, did you hear that? He said, oh, that was just me snoring. And then I was like, no, I heard something,” Lisa said.
Lisa then walked out of her bedroom to check what was going on.
“I see this scary devil looking in my window, and I screamed like a primal scream,” Lisa told WPBF.
Richards is seen on the home security video standing at their front door and opening it. A picture of him shows two horn tattoos on his head.
“The last time I screamed like that was when I gave birth to my son. That’s how primal it was,” Lisa said.
She ran towards the door, and her husband Chris followed.
“My husband had a shotgun.

Going out on a limb here, but Goat-Boy here seems just a bit ‘off’ to me and should be watched very carefully. Thanks, Gun Bunny.

A real charmer, that Richards. He’s lucky to still be above ground.

Goat boy needed to meet Mr. Mossy & his full payload.
KHOU not covering itself with glory lately.
As usual, gonna be out of pocket when the WOT drops today. Check in with you when I’m back behind the wire this evening. Y’all play nice, and save some Shiner for me.
The two ‘hood rats discovered the whole “FAFO” thing. We’ll hear from the one that suddenly remembered pressing business elsewhere…eventually if not sooner. “Hoodline” heh heh most apropos and yes…I do have that linky bookmarked…along with KOB4, KHOU, GVA, …
All the comments about “Goat Boy” and not a word about Ms Thang “leading the charge” in her little shorty ‘jammies? Priorities, Gentlemen…Priorities…
The knotzies that called us deplorables “knotzies” certainly took the lessons of the knotzies to heart.
“…carried it on him regularly and even slept with the pistol at arm’s reach…” Another meaning to the term “Teddy Bear”. *snicker*
And that FN was a . 32. Having a . 38 Long Colt must have seemed to Teddy like heavy artillery. Me, I think I would have used the available . 44 Russian instead, but I like pretty much all the mid-range . 44-.45s.
With ink like that, Mr Richards wonders why he’s never hired in a customer relations position.
And is Mr Richards a lockpick? Or are people being stoopid enough to leave their doors unlocked? I live in a quiet “white bread” neighborhood, and I still lock my doors at all times.
