Most viewers approved of Trump’s state of the union speech
Snap polls showed that most viewers saw President Donald Trump’s state of the union speech in a positive light. Most felt that Trump addressed the issues they cared about, that Trump’s speech left them with a positive feeling, that he made them feel more proud, etc. Many on social media took note of the fact that many Democrats were “lacking in enthusiasm” when Trump noted some Americans with specific experiences. For example, a 13-year-old cancer survivor being named a member of the U.S. Secret Service, the 95-year-old mother of an American freed from Russian custody, the mother and sister of Laken Riley, etc.

Seventy-six percent of people approved of the president’s remarks, while 23 percent disapproved as reported Wednesday in CBS News and YouGov survey results.
A majority of respondents, 63 percent, said Trump spent a lot of time on issues they cared about, compared to 28 percent who said the opposite. Another 9 percent said he spent no time at all on their topics of interest.
Respondents also noted his speech left them with a positive feeling overall; 68 percent said the speech made them feel hopeful, 54 percent said it made them proud, and 27 percent were worried by the remarks while 16 percent said they were angry, according to the data.
CNN’s instant polling captured a similar response, with 44 percent of speech watchers viewing Trump’s remarks as very positive. About 25 percent said his remarks were somewhat positive, and 31 percent felt they were negative.
Half of the survey respondents said they are confident in the president’s leadership, 45 percent felt he would use his presidential power responsibly and 40 percent of people said he would help people like them, the poll showed.

This is the Democrat party today. It’s not just about the ecosystem that allows something like this to be said, though that is a major factor. It is the fact this woman wasn’t immediately excoriated by the entirety of the Democrat party, fired from her job, and the “media outlet” didn’t issue a full apology before the sun came up. USAID does have a transparent budget, at least at first glance. But when you dig just a wee bit deeper, into the details of where the large sum of government grant money actually goes, we find all these cute little projects that have absolutely nothing to do with aid, and everything to with grift. USAID has always been a front, it’s never been aid.

Well, there’s transparency, and there is transparency. A little knowledge of accounting and a bit of curiosity makes the difference.
For example;

“A subsidiary ledger is a detailed record of transactions for a specific group of accounts within a company. It supports the general ledger by providing more information about individual accounts”
The controlling account(s) for USAID are something like “Good things to help people”. It’s the subsidiary accounts & ledgers that have all the interesting details.Those controlling accounts are widely publicized, the subsidiaries–not so much. Remember Enron? CDOs?

If we peel the onion back and see where the money actually ends up, we get what we have here. Studies of non-binary transgender BIPOC fresh water shrimp populations in the Great Salt Lake and the effect of climate change on their migratory patterns. Essentially, USAID is keeping multiple sets of books.
