Napolitano: Now, you’re not safe

| December 28, 2009

After spending all day yesterday telling everyone who would listen that “the system worked”, our Homeland Security Secretary is now telling us the exact opposite;

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says the aviation security system failed when a young man on a watch list with a U.S. visa in his pocket and a powerful explosive hidden on his body was allowed to board a fight from Amsterdam to Detroit.

A day after saying the system worked, Napolitano said her words had been taken out of context. She said Monday on NBC’s “Today” show that “our system did not work in this instance.”

Isn’t that what we were saying yesterday, while Napolitano was telling us that up is down and black is white? I wonder what’s going on here. Oh, wait…

The White House press office, traveling with President Barack Obama in Hawaii, said early Monday that the president would make a statement from the Kaneoho Marine Base in the morning.

Oh, so not only did his advisors wait three hours to tell the president about the attack, he’s going to make a speech nearly four days after the event, and he sent Napolitano out to test the waters. Regardless, they’re both incompetent boobs.

And again, to repeat: This administration is playing a West Wing fantasy game in a ’24’ world.

Absolutely right, Sparky. And, Nappy also blamed it all on, who else, GWB. After all, the terrorsit got his visa a year ago June.
She couldn’t address the fact that they were warned about him, and did nothing. By the terrorist’s own father, no less. And, still they did nothing.

The system worked to 100% perfection, in proving that we are now under the most stupid, and anti-american, regime in history. Anyone, and everyone, who voted for any of this crowd should now drink their Jim Jones Koolaide. I’ll gladly help in burning the bodies.

She DID order mandatory wedgies – All is not lost.

Clearly this could have been avoided if every OIF/OEF vet had gotten their FBI tail assigned as the DHS secretary wanted in the first place.

NHSparky

Oh, shit, here we go again. Time to take a few more swings in a new game of “Whack-A-Troll” today! Okay, Joe–I’ll bite–how many OIF/OEF vets (reservists) whose primary job was working for the FBI–oh, hell, let’s just make it the entire DOJ–were actually IN the “sandbox” at any given time in 2008-09? What percentage of FBI field agents does that make up? Now please feel free to go suck a fucking grenade, douchenozzle.

Gary

What in the hell do vets have to do with this story? This piece of dung was not even an American, much less a vet.

The system didn’t become fucked up overnight. I remember when the prior administration’s DHS/TSA did full searches of 50+ mobilized Soldiers, traveling in uniform and on orders because the Department of Defense changed our flight within some “red flag” timeframe before our flight.
