Fatal shooting in Baltimore may be connected to an attempted carjacking, witnesses say

Baltimore Police are investigating a homicide in Southwest Baltimore, that witnesses tell Fox45 stemmed from an attempted carjacking.On Saturday, just before 8 p.m., police received a call about a shooting in the 4100 block of Frederick Ave., near Augusta Ave.
According to police dispatch audio, the 32-year-old victim of the shooting, who died a short time later, was attempting to carjack a driver on Augusta Avenue.
“The call coming out as a carjacking. Someone was trying to steal a vehicle. The person whose car it was, shot at the other person,” said the dispatcher.

I like the way that more of these assaults are ending up:
Perp tries to steal from/assault victim.
Victim can’t afford to wait for po-po, takes matters into own hands, shoots perp.
Victim, having learned The Four Esses, decides to follow #4 (Shut Up), and leaves for other places and parts unknown.
Po-po finally arrive to pick up the pieces, ponder the departure of the victim.
