Another PTSD cooties case?
A gun man holding an assistant principle principal hostage in Pine Plains, New York has been arrested. Of course, the Fox News correspondent, Laura Ingle, points out that the 40 year old man who was disgruntled over “the government” had a son in the military. No links yet.
Apparently, everyone has a built-in excuse to suffer from PTSD resulting in bad behavior from our war against terror as long as they have a relationship, no matter how tenuous, to a member of the military.

I think you’re wrong, Jonn. It’s not so much a built-in excuse to suffer PTSD, but more of a built in excuse to blame everything bad on the military. The military angle is the highlight since nutbar douchebag (his official name now) killed and wounded a bunch of people last week. Everything bad that happens is going to start with “I wonder if there is a military connection”, and even if there isn’t, it doesn’t matter.
I guess the DHS memo lives on?
Haven’t you heard? Merely hearing of a soldier’s traumatic event can cause PTSD. Mind you, I guess there is some sort of pride that goes along with having experienced a traumatic event so bad that it drove your family and your shrink crazy. Of course, I only know of one documented case where a psychologist was driven homicidally insanse by her patient.

Did the source story even bring up PTSD?
Notice that CNN is bringing up the PTSD angle on Malvo for all they can milk from it.
I got PTSD from a marathon session of Halo. True story.
I got ptsd, but for me it stands for
“Post-Turds in my Stuff Disorder”
Ask TSO about it…
I got PTSD from two tours in Iraq. It’s so damn funny!
VTWoody,
I happen to know that TSO has said he was sorry for your PTSD as recently as St. Patty 209 weekend (as I was a witness).
And speaking of St. Patty’s day, Sparky, I will be doing a little jig around 9 pm tonight.
/hijack/ I did have to suffer through a Chief Moose interview last night where he tried to explain his BS description of the suspects and their vehicle. I knew that DC had pulled them two over during the shootings, but I didn’t know that Baltimore PD also had a run-in with them during those 3 weeks. Good thing we are looking for two white dudes in a panel van everytime we got out of our cars.
Casey, this isn’t about you. If you notice, it’s about something other than direct PTSD.
Are you being treated? Have you talked with professionals that can help you? Are you in the VA system? Do you need phone numbers to get in touch with someone that can help you?
If you need any of these things, get my number from Jonn and I’ll get you hooked up. Because that is what I do.
I served in the Army during the Carter Administration. Does that qualify for PTSD?
I am very grateful for the offer. I am in the VA system and have seen a health provider, it took months, but I got it done. Also have a briefing in December. But thank you. I help others with these same problems, so any contact that could help would be great.
Please share with everyone! URGENT – Westboro Church is at 190 and Ft. Hood St. outside the McDonald’s holding signs saying “Thank God for Dead Soldiers” right now! If you are in the Killeen area, do something PLEASE!
WTF!!!??? I could say something right now that would get me arrested, so I won’t, but Jeezuz F-ing Christ!!!! Are these people trolling for an ass whoopin?? I doubt anyone would be able to hold back from kicking their ass, this time. Thank God I’m not anywhere near there.
Westboro crossed the street to Denny’s, but got ran off by Denny’s workers, Soldiers, Patriot Guard, and Vets.
These people are really trolling for an ass whoopin. Glad I’m not there, because I wouldn’t be able to stop myself.
Denny’s won’t let the Westboro loons back on their property to get their van back. Hahahaha Go to my Facebook page for pics and more updates.
LOL!!! I dont’ care who ya are, that’s funny right there! They should auction the van off and give the proceeds to the Ft. Hood Chaplains fund.
Totally and utterly unrelated to the Westboro Baptist folks in every way shape or form, did you guys know you can pretty easily and totally legally buy smoke and even CS “grenades” online? Totally legal. I’m probably going to get one of the smokes for my hiking pack for emergency signaling.
That’s utterly unrelated to anything about Porter’s posts about the WBC, of course.
Okay…Let me see,1 son,U.S.Army,2 tours in Iraq and 2 purple hearts,E-6…..One son,U.S.M.C.,soon to deploy to A-stan,E-3,…One daughter in law…U.S.M.C. heading to Oki…E-2….One niece,USN…3 tours to the gulf…E-5..and one nephew leaving in a week for basic in the U.S.Army…and that a**wipe claims PTSD…Damn
My goodness, why don’t we all just claim second-hand PTSD from watching the news, then?
