Iranian protesters burn the U.S. and Israeli flags to condemn killing members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Syria

Israeli strike on Iran’s consulate in Syria killed 2 generals and 5 other officers, Iran says

DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) — An Israeli airstrike that demolished Iran’s consulate in Syria on Monday killed two Iranian generals and five officers, according to Iranian officials. The strike appeared to signify an escalation of Israel’s targeting of military officials from Iran, which supports militant groups fighting Israel in Gaza, and along its border with Lebanon.

Since the war in Gaza began nearly six months ago, clashes have increased between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah militants based in Lebanon. Hamas, which rules Gaza and attacked Israel on Oct. 7, is also backed by Iran.

Israel, which rarely acknowledges strikes against Iranian targets, said it had no comment on the latest attack in Syria, although a military spokesman blamed Iran for a drone attack early Monday against a naval base in southern Israel.

Israel has grown increasingly impatient with the daily exchanges of fire with Hezbollah, which have escalated in recent days, and warned of the possibility of a full-fledged war. Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen have also been launching long-range missiles toward Israel, including on Monday.

The airstrike in Syria killed Gen. Mohammad Reza Zahedi, who led the elite Quds Force in Lebanon and Syria until 2016, according to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard. It also killed Zahedi’s deputy, Gen Mohammad Hadi Hajriahimi, and five other officers.

A member of Hezbollah, Hussein Youssef, also was killed in the attack, an official with the militant group told The Associated Press.

AP News

The Mad Mullahs are not about to cease sponsoring terror as long as they can fund proxies who do the actual bleeding. That this behavior will change only by inflicting pain on the regime is patently obvious. To his credit Biden had also ordered airstrikes in Syria on known Iranian-backed militias in retaliation for proxy attacks. However, this action is an extension of the Wack-A-Mole strategy currently failing in the Red Sea. Taking out a Quds Force commander makes a statement Iran can’t ignore.

Was it tit or was it tat? In any case it was pretty damn good.
Pair of F-35’s with six missles.

RCAF-CHAIRBORNE

Those missiles should have played the opening bars of ‘ Hava Nagila ‘ before detonation.
That would send a message

The last administration shwacked Qasem Soleimani with a drone attack, and the Iranians ceased their f@ck around and find out posture for a while.

George

This administration will gladly take credit for any deterrence the Israelis achieved.

Sweet. Any report of dead Iranian generals is a good report. May I recommend checking the maintenance readiness of your nukes?

Insh’allah, muthafucker!

Iranians burn American & Israeli flags and chant approved slogans? Must be a day that ends in Y.
Good job!!

You ever wonder where they store the Israel flags? I’m sure they have a stash of “Made in China” ones for America that are always ready to go. But given how much they freak out over anything that has ever been associated with the Jews, where do they stash them? Also, those don’t look like “real” Israel flags, so maybe “Made in China” for those too.

David

Relatively surgical for an air strike.

Well done, IDF. Keep ’em dying!

Can’t ignore? I bet they ignore the shit out of it. The ISF are serving big meals all around and don’t mind passing out seconds.

Fuck ’em….

We seem to be entering the modern crusades…where Jihadists may have finally ignited their desired global conflict to rid the world of Jews…unfortunately for the Jihadists Israel seems a bit unwilling to lie down and be murdered for the sake of Allah…Perhaps Representative Walberg was correct with suggesting the most appropriate course of action is taking out as much of one’s enemies as possible as quickly as possible…

We will come to a decision point…that decision may well determine the nature of the world we inhabit in the future, for better or worse. I hope we still have the intestinal fortitude as a nation to make the right choice.

My money is on the Israelis.

Mine too.

Not to minimize the conflict or suggest human suffering isn’t happening in Gaza, by and large the worlds media have fallen prey to Hamas’ outright lies, then reporting them as fact…even if disproven.

Paliwood has been hard at work spinning the narrative, producing picture after picture of wounded and maimed children and wailing parents, only to find those pictures are manufactured and part of a deception campaign – using the same child but applying different makeup – rinse and repeat, or using photos from bombed neighborhoods in Aleppo and elsewhere in Syria.

Hamas doesn’t get to attack a neighboring country and cause atrocities, then all of a sudden call for a cease fire just because they’re getting their asses kicked. No fight I’ve ever heard of starts or ends like that.
