Wounded man introduced gun into dispute, police say
SAN ANTONIO – A man who was shot during an apparent domestic dispute at a Northeast side home Monday morning could face criminal charges.
San Antonio police say it appears the wounded man introduced the gun into the dispute.
Officers arrived at the home in the 15100 block of Vigil View after receiving several calls about a shooting shortly before 8 a.m.
They say they found the man, who is in his late 30s, with a gunshot wound in his upper body.
Officers said he was stable as he left for a hospital by ambulance.
Police said witnesses told them the wounded man had been involved in a dispute with a woman who also lives in the home.
They say another man intervened, and the dispute turned physical.
During the struggle, police say, the gun went off somehow.

Funny how guns go off somehow. Thanks, Gun Bunny.
Thanks again Gun Bunny.
And where is the Prince who can afford to so cover his country with troops for its defense, as that ten thousand men descending from the clouds, might not in many places do an infinite deal of mischief, before a force could be brought together to repel them?

“…introduced the gun into the dispute.”
“Hello”
“Oh, how are you?”
“Just fine, thank you”
“Allow me to introduce my gun to you”
“Well, how do you do?”
etc, etc…….
Ah, the old M1 carbine. Loved shooting my Dad’s growing up. Going to advance my grandkids to it once they graduate from the Ruger 10-22.
When standing on the pier in San Juan Peurto Rico doing forward brow guard duty we were issued M-1 Carbines and no ammo for show. I remember wearing undress blues or whites with white leggings and a wide belt with an empty mag pouch. Shot the Carbine and other WW2 small arms off of the fantail while underway a number of times.
The armed homeowner had a lot of influence on the intruder becoming DRT.
Wonder if the abuser’s lawer will introduce Mr. A. Baldwin as an expert witness as to how guns can somehow go off?
It’s not the ten thousand descending from the clouds that we need to concern ourselves with now…It is the millions of invaders that are in and amongst us.
Can’t blame the ROKs for hanging on to the Carbines that got stashed. They’ll probably need them…eventually if not sooner.
