By Louis Casiano
A suspected robber holding two people hostage at knifepoint inside a Florida bank was shot and killed Tuesday by a law enforcement sniper during a tense standoff, authorities said. The suspect, identified by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office as Sterling Ramon Alavache, 36, had a long criminal history, which included drug trafficking, aggravated assault, and carrying a concealed firearm from several states, officials said.
Deputies responded to a Bank of America branch located near Bell Tower Shops in Fort Meyers just after 11 a.m. following a call about a bank robber holding several hostages, Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno told reporters, alongside the FBI.
As deputies ran inside the bank to secure the area, dozens of people ran out, Marceno said.
“Quickly, we were face-to-face with a male suspect who was armed with a knife,” the sheriff said. “He also claimed he had a bomb.”

Yup!
It reads like it was written by a grade-schooler.
Someone at ATF is sitting in his WHAA room.
You ARE fat…. Not “is” Fat. 🙄
“….are said to be related”.
It’s the deep South, where (it is said) some family trees can be straight sticks.
In extreme circumstances, they can be wreaths.
“Kissing Cousins”…they’re for practicing on…and anything past 2nd cousin don’t count nohow. Full disclosure…several years back I rode to LA (Lower Alabama) for the funeral of my nephew. Traveling with Baby Sister and a FIRST (grin) cousin, we shared a two queen sized bed motel room. Wasn’t sure if I might have been accused of being in violation of the Mann Act, or by sharing a room, I was now married to one/the other/or both, or, if by not having carnal relations with either and or both, if I was in violation of an Alabama Law. One never knows.
Jackson Mississippi is the Chiraq of the South. % wise, the crime rate is even higher. And yes, that % comes from a particular demographic.
Escort duty calling…see y’all later today. Play nice.
Note to our Beloved Kid Squid…outstanding article on the pocket rockets.
I’m sensing a theme (does two make a “theme”?) over the past two days. Petite powder primed or percussion cap pocket pistols.
What’s on the page for tomorrow?
How about this…

And you folks in the democRAT party have written off about 75%.
The Mississippi story sounds like Proctor was examined and found wanting- a bullet to his body, which deficit was rectified.
