CHICAGO – A concealed carry license holder shot a man trying to break into his apartment Monday morning in the South Shore neighborhood.
A 30-year-old man forced his way into the apartment around 12:30 a.m. in the 7100 block of South Jeffery Boulevard, according to Chicago police. Once inside, he was shot in the leg by a 29-year-old man who is a concealed carry license holder, police said.
Police officers took the 30-year-old into custody and transported him to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was listed in fair condition.
Police said the shooting appears to be “domestic-related.”

(and on the plus side for the queen, it doesn’t appear that she’s sporting the (in)famous Hapsburg lip (which came with it’s own set of medical problems). So there is that.
The pistol is a .69…was the Queen? Sadly, of all the pics I looked at on a Google Foo of Queenie, that were not protected by a copyright/firewall, that particular one was the most flattering. Per one of the articles, she became preggars about 18 times, so she must have done some snuggling. IIRC, none of her children lived to adulthood, most still born or dying shortly after.
Happy the stabber beat the rap for stabbing, but I’ve got a strong suspicion he’s guilty of plenty of other offenses and his time will come.
