Terror Leaders Flee to, NATO?

Report: Hamas Leaders Flee Qatar, Turn Phones Off

Hamas leaders who had lived in luxurious exile in Qatar have left for unknown destinations as of Tuesday and have switched off their phones, according to the Israeli Kan channel’s Arabic news service, Makan.

According to Makan (via Google translate), a “number” of Hamas leaders have left Qatar “for an unknown destination,” though they are presumed to be going to Lebanon, Iran, or Algeria.

The Jerusalem Post added: “Additionally, on Tuesday, KAN news reported that Saleh al-Arouri, a senior member of Hamas, left his usual residence in Beirut for Turkey.”

Other countries that have given refuge to Hamas in the past include Syria, though that is probably too close to the range of current Israeli airstrikes, which have reached targets near Damascus in the current conflict.

In October, as Breitbart News reported, Israel created a special unit to track down and kill every Hamas member involved in the planning and execution of the October 7 terror attack in Israel, in which 1,200 people were murdered.

Breitbart

Pressing business elsewhere, Inshallah. If only there was some way to encourage our NATO ally not to support terrorists. Based on his foreign policy history I’m filled with confidence in our current Commander-In-Chief to quickly resolve this to everyone’s satisfaction. Our steely-eyed SecState could inquire about the Hamas headquarters in Istanbul, for example.

This is why I never claim to understand God’s will. Sometimes he has little ways of letting you know that you are incorrect when you try to do that.

You ever notice too that state of the art electric sub stations are usually taken out by squirrels? You are correct, it’s the little things He uses to get our attention.

We used to accuse the linemen of putting peanut butter on the terminals

That would guarantee some ot for someone I would think.

A former neighbor of mine had a friend who was a Lineman who said, “As long as Squirrels exist, we’ll always have plenty of overtime!”

My cats find them tasty, too.

My Parents once had a half-Siamese born under the backyard tool shed who cuddled up to them, but disappeared when anyone else came into the house. He stopped eating anything my Folks tried to feed him; thus they took him to the Veterinarian who said that he was the picture of perfect feline health. A week later my Dad moved the RV in the backyard revealing a cornucopia of squirrel bones and tails, that Cat was saying “TO HELL WITH the processed food!” and enjoyed a fresh kill every time he went outside!

Forgive my twisted humor, but the mini movie playing in my head after I saw this was something like God and Jesus watching this speech, followed by God turning to Jesus, saying “hold my beer, son”.

See ya’ll in hell.

MustangCPT

It was probably more along the lines of:
“Hey, Pappy, did you see that?”

“Hold my beer, Junior.”

🤣

SFC D

EXACTLY like that!

I’ll make two reservations.

Oh, please. Lucifer knows better than to let me in that realm. I’d take it over and be running it as the biggest casino and juke joint inside of a week.

Since the other mission of hunting down all the Nazis is winding down, it seems they have a new list…and Mossad seems to be quite good at finding their man!

It kind of reminded me of the movie that Heston was in, the 10 commandments. Old Pharoah praying to his stone idol then getting his army washed away. Even the black label Evan Williams is too good to waste on them. I was surprised how good it is for the price…beats Jack Daniel’s and Jim Beam hands down at about half the price.

RGR 4-78

I have been on an Evan Williams Honey kick for a couple of years now, man, that stuff is smooth and easy.

MIRanger

Jim Beam must be an acquired taste, never quite appreciated it. Evan Williams to me was just a cheaper Jack Daniels… I always thought it was secretly Jack Daniels just labeled as bourbon.

MustangCPT

Oh, I don’t care for either Jim or Jack. To me, there’s a taste difference between Evan and Jack but different tastes for different folks. The one thing I can say, I refer to Jack and Coke as “Asshole in a glass” because it seems that there’s something about that combo that turns a mild-mannered guy into someone who thinks he can take on the world.

I get it, but I was able to work with the Turkish Special Forces for a time and they were solid. Muslim, Christian, Kurd, Arab, etc. saw everyone as a brother in arms. I’m afraid that many times the governments get in the way of the warrior class.

MustangCPT

Agree to disagree. Erdogan has been busily purging his military after that failed coup attempt. Their military leadership is composed of people who will toe his line. So, again, FUCK THE TURKS.

rgr769

There were three Turk officers in my SFOC class. From what we could tell, they never bathed or changed uniforms. By week three, the other foreign officers were trying to avoid sitting next to them in the classrooms. The didn’t seem very bright either.

Maybe I’m narrow-minded, a bigot, or worse, but Islam is going to take care of Islamists. Sure, there’s the whole Sunni/Shia thing, but talking out of my uninformed 4th point of contact just now and desiring to find some justification for my thoughts led me to this: With the Israel-Hamas war, Sunni and Shia armed groups find uncommon unity (kunm.org).

Turkey may be a member of NATO, but having emerged from the toppled Ottoman Empire, they are still first and foremost a Muslim nation. We saw that in 2003, when they refused to allow US troops to establish a northern front. Turkey Rejects U.S. Troop Deployment – Los Angeles Times (latimes.com). Sunni or Shiite, the sun doesn’t shine where the shit falls. Allah will not bless any Western nation that doesn’t accept him/her/zhey as the supreme deity.

At the very least, we have little to worry about with our current all-mighty Administration and its highly effective Cabinet. We are by far the most secure nation on earth and would never have to worry about any attack on domestic soil, especially given our border strategy.

5JC

I still think the invasion of Iraq was a terrible idea. Maybe we should have listened to the Turks.

fm2176

I can’t disagree. The “Axis of Evil” still has two well-established regimes that continue to antagonize us. Saddam was far from a good person, but he at least maintained stability in Iraq, and frankly was the least threat to us, not exporting terrorists the way Iran does, and not being a perpetual thorn in the side of an ally the way North Korea is with South Korea. In keeping with my more isolationist views, and despite having spent time with the Kurds after we took Baghdad, I think we should have continued the status quo. Work on Afghanistan after 9/11 and keep sanctions and strongly worded warnings against Iraq. Maybe send in air strikes or even SOF every now and then to remind Hussein that we let him stay in power. No, not that Hussein, funny how we elected America’s First Black President ™ and he had a common name with a deposed and executed enemy…

rgr769

Agree. Except they should have allowed Stormin Norman to take down Saddam in the first go around. But left the Iraqis to sort out their own country. Then we could have focused all our combat power on the A-Stan and exterminating the Taliban.

Slow Joe

I still think the invasion of Iraq was a terrible idea. Maybe we should have listened to the Turks.”

At the time, I was convinced Saddam had nukes, or at least working in secrecy to get nukes. No dictator in the world missed the lesson learned from North Korea, after the Clinton administration allowed them to get nukes and they became untouchable.

So, at the time, the only thing Saddam had to do was to open his country to inspections, and he and his two murderous children would still be alive raping Iraqi girls and killing Kurds. But he said no to the inspections.

Why would he say no to the inspections? Was he stupid? Didn’t he know that there was no version of that war in which he would end up on top? What was his decision-making process?

5JC

After 9/11 he likely figured he was going down one way or another, so he tried to get the US trapped in a forever war. Of course he didn’t last forever, but longer than most expected.

or another way… If you show up at my door after you keep asking me for things I don’t have, that I can’t give you, I figure you are coming for my ass. We are going to end up throwing down.

But yep, a better solution would have been to take him out in 1991, give the Iraqi’s back the country and then 9/11 never happens.

Odie

A Proud Infidel®™

You and me both.

A Proud Infidel®™

Here’s a happy thought, why not “accidentally” leak their hideout locations to Mossad and if anything happens to them while hiding, it’s “Oopso Adashee” as the Koreans aways said!

5JC

But would an attack on Hamas in Turkey trigger Article V? I guess a lot of Biden-like Depends would go into that equation.

MIRanger

Kind-of depends on if it can be proven to be State Actor or just a rogue terror group… you know like proving election fraud

5JC

Alleged election fraud. Next you will be saying that Biden was caught up in Hunter’s “business dealings” which were totally not bribes. But we all know that isn’t true because Hunter said so. It isn’t like he would just say things that weren’t true.

Blaster

Anyone think that the Mossad doesn’t know where they are?

We either!

QMC

Privately, I believe the Saudis, Jordanians, Emirates, and Omanis, may be more than willing to turn a blind eye to the Mossad doing what they need to do in nearby Qatar. They don’t have much use for what they see as trouble makers either.

And I think the little terrorists realize that and decided it was time to make a move.

A Proud Infidel®™

I don’t doubt that even one bit!
