Reminding me of how much today’s “liberals” remind me of the early ’30s Nazis –
Israeli students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) say they are “terrified” to be on campus after participants at a campus protest chanted “one solution, intifada, revolution” at a rally supporting the devastating Hamas terrorist attacks that killed hundreds of Israelis in Israel.
“Intifada is not a call for resistance. Intifada is the name of acts of bombing and killing civilians in Israel in the Israel-Palestine conflict. It’s the name of taking civilian lives in terrorist attacks in Israel. That is what intifada means. That is how it’s defined,” she said.
MIT students Liyam Chitayat and Lior Alon told Fox News Digital in interviews that after they contacted MIT’s administration to report the calls to violence being chanted from the protest and for concern for their own safety, they’ve yet to receive a substantial response. Fox News

And last for the day – in the least surprising news of the week, none of the “Squad” voted for a resolution condemning Hamas for its attacks on Israel.
H.R. 771, which reaffirms America’s support for Israel as it responds to the attack, received overwhelming bipartisan support and passed by a vote of 412-10 with six members voting present.
The 10 members voting against the resolution included six of the eight “Squad” members: Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY., Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., Summer Lee, D-Pa., and Cori Bush, D-Mo. They were joined by Reps. André Carson, D-Ind., Al Green, D-Texas, and Delia Ramirez, D-Ill.

Why do they vote “present”? what the hell does that even do?
Regarding the vote, at least some of those socialist democrats and myself agree on this one thing though. But even a broken clock is right twice a day.
“Abstaining” is not allowed. “Present” gives them an easy out. See also “weak”, “nutless” and “spineless”. Get off the fence, grab a gun and pick a side.
That requires the courage of your convictions. Politicians, for the most part, lack both. Ambassadors and diplomats, almost without exception, are the same.

This was the song that the German soldiers were singing by the piano in the movie “Casablanca.” In all fairness, this was a march from the Imperial days, long before Hitler. I’m guessing that the producers wanted to use an obviously German song without giving airplay to a Nazi song since this movie was made during WWII. Kind of the same reason that Conrad Veidt would only play evil German characters with no redeeming qualities after he left Germany when Hitler came to power.
