Person shot at 201 Moury Ave SW
Preliminary information: On 7/15/23 at around 11:07 p.m., Atlanta police responded to a person shot call at 201 Moury Ave SW. Upon arrival, officers located a male with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital alert, conscious and breathing for further medical treatment. A female, who was still on scene was identified as the shooter.
Further investigation revealed the male and female are known acquaintances who were engaged in a verbal dispute shortly before the shooting. The verbal dispute led to the male physically assaulting the female in front of her children. She then in turn produced a handgun and both fought over it when the gun discharged striking the male.
The female did not want to press charges for the assault; however the incident did occur in the presence of her children therefore the male, identified as 56-year-old Ricky Davis was charged with Cruelty to Children. He was later released from the hospital and transported to the Fulton County Jail.

New Details: Man shoots, kills aggressor attacking three women in hotel
By Megan Boyd
WACO, Texas (KWTX) – A man is dead after police say a bystander shot and killed him when he heard three women calling for help inside a room at Hotel Indigo on 211 Clay Ave. The shooter cooperated with police and was not arrested.Police say it started around 3 a.m. when a man staying at the hotel heard people yelling for help in the hallway.
He found a room where a man was in a fight with three women. Police say in a press release, the bystander tried to help, but it upset the “original aggressor”.
The original aggressor attacked the bystander, which prompted the bystander to fire one shot at the original aggressor.

Texas….
Sounds like the bystander is, or should be, in the Texas Rangers. One shot, one kill.
Where’s KHOU on this one?
KHOU has been like an old timey TeeVee star of late, Tox,… slim picken’s. KHOU is on speed dial bookmark and they are usually the FIRST (heh heh) place I go to on my everyday hunt. We’ve had several FGS from Houston/Harris Co that the source was another news group. Odd how there isn’t too many crime stories either like before from them. The Good Citizen coming to the rescue of the damsels in distress is a GO at this station.
Ms. Thang should have delivered the TSS. We’ll be hearing from this loving couple again.
That lad should rethink his career as a budding income redistribution specialist. oh…wait…too late for him, but maybe he can serve as an example to his fellow choir member.
How many of Mao’s own people had his starvation hammer brought down upon them?
Figured it was about time for the plasticized abominations to show up again. *sigh* I guess the fugly gun pr0n will be next.
Off to see Ms Thang my Chancre Mechanic. Maybe she’ll give me the “turn your head and cough” test today. Or extend my expiration date.
Atlanta…
Dude, she’s just not that into you any more.
But her boolit is.
Time to move on, while you still can.
I know which one I would want. And it ain’t plastic
Nice looking 1911 .380. I have the mini Colt 1911 .380 I bought back in the 80’s. My mind went blank (senior moment) on the name of my little .380.
Is that 1911 from Carling (Black Label)?
I call her “Mabel”.
Mabel, Reminds me of a tune called Lili Maebelle by the Bronx NYC Valentines 1955 on the Rama label. Great NYC street corner up tempo vocal group harmoney song.
Try a beer commercial instead.
(not have been back east for awhile, is CBL still around?)
Back in the days when BWI was known of as Friendship there was a beautiful CarlingBlack Label brewery along I-95. Huge glass walls let you see the size of the fermentation tanks and fancy plumbing arrangements.
I have not seen a Black Label or Carling product in decades. But, back in those days a case of Longneck Bud, with returnable bottles, ran about $2.35. It also had some flavor to it.
I just checked out CBL and it is still being sold in the US and a shitload of european countries. I got the Mabel as “Hey Mabel Black Label” portrayed by Jeanine Goodspeed. Now under Molson Coors Brewing Co..
Took me a moment to realize that was the design on the blanket, not the Glock wearing a tampon.
It is appropriate that the Glock would be wearing a tampon, Skiv…after all…it is…wait for it…a pu$$y pistol!
ROFLOL!
I didn’t notice that.
Now I can’t unsee it.
Thanks!
Our beloved Ed must be feeling the Monday Morning Blues, and wanted to share the pain with that “gun” wannabe.
It does meet the criteria of “it runs, eats most of what is fed it, and is mostly reliable” but it’s still an ugly abomination.
Hope the 20 year old is ok.
Momma should get over her “any man is better than no man at all” and put more bullets into her attacker.
Bro GB, we’ll know that our Beloved ‘Ed has lost that lovin’ feelin’ for us when he runs this little number for Sunday’s Gunz Girl/pr0n…
🤣
Just noticed the glock is on the rocks.
Dunno what Ed’s point is…
Aim small, miss small?
Reminds me of my one, and only, tour as Duty RSO.
Brrrrr…
She may well indeed regret not delivering the TSS. This linky could be her in the future…

Speaking on behalf of the dead 17 year old crimi—I mean po innocen chile….
“He was good boy and wan’t gonna hurt noboddy, he din’t do nuffin’, he was gittin’ his life turn aroun’ an’ wuz goin’ to schoo. How wuz he suppose to git money for schoo? You don need to carry no gun if someone want to get money fo schoo! They din’t hafta shoot him! We gonna get lotta money outta dis!”
The fam of the dead boy already has a call in to Benny Crump.
I hated Glock since I started buying guns in the ’90s. Grip angle sucked, didn’t like the lack of a manual safety, and I preferred good old-fashioned hammers over striker-fired guns. As I neared retirement and considered law enforcement for a follow-on career, though, I figured I’d buy one of those plastic Made in Germany Glock 7s, despite having a Beretta 92F made the same year Die Hard was released. Oddly enough, I found I like it, but I wished I’d have gotten the G45, so I did. I carry revolvers, and when carrying the Beretta, Para-Ordnance LDA, or other handguns carry safety off (I’ve gotten used to using the safety for reholstering, but then it’s disengaged). For the price point (@$400-$600 depending on model and whether it’s Blue Label pricing) and out-of-the-box reliability, Glock isn’t too bad. I’m now a gun vault specialist and have yet to see a Glock go back for warranty repair. Despite mostly making M1911A1 variants, Kimber fails to impress me. Pay $1500 and Kimber still expects you to put 300-500 rounds through the gun for a break-in period. I can buy any Glock or even Canik we sell here and start carrying it asap for 1/3rd to 1/5th the cost. Both my G17 and G45 are stoppage free, as are my TP9SA and TP9SFx.
Incidentally, we sold one of those Black Label .380 1911s a week or three ago, and just got in another today. The Brownings don’t sell a whole lot (Glock 43Xs, Ruger LCPs, SIG Sauer P365s, and nearly anything Taurus are the biggest sellers), but they make some nice guns.
I fuckin love my Caniks. Shit hot right out of the box.
