Husband praises pregnant wife after she gunned down man who attacked family
by Luke Gentile
A man is speaking out after his pregnant wife gunned down the man who attacked their family inside a parking garage. The attack occurred Monday while the out-of-town family was visiting Little Rock, Arkansas, to celebrate their daughter’s seventh birthday, the father, whose identity has not been released, said.
He said the family was planning on visiting a water park and the zoo.
In the River Market garage, the man, his wife, and their two children were packing their car when someone approached the family and attacked from behind, according to the father.
He was struck multiple times and was tackled to the ground by the assailant, identified as 37-year-old Markevious King, the wife told Little Rock police.
King then approached the driver’s seat and began striking the pregnant wife in the head.
The husband suffered a fractured rib, and his wife has multiple “knots on her forehead where he apparently punched her,” he said.
“She feared for her and her family so she drew her pistol and shot toward [King] one time, striking him in the head/neck area,” the police report read.

Good gal with a gun works just fine too, surprising no one. Thanks, Gun Bunny.
Homeowner clashes with thief in backyard after security camera catches break-in attempt
The confrontation between the suspect thief and homeowner quickly turned physical in the back yard
By Michael Lee | Fox News
A Staten Island, New York, homeowner raced back to his house to confront an alleged burglar after his phone alerted him to activity on his doorbell camera.“I checked out the motion alert and saw that there was a gentleman in front of my house,” the homeowner, Christian Schlager, told SILive in a report Sunday. “I’m watching him live, checking my door handle and make his way into my backyard.”
Schlager said he was on his way to Brooklyn when he received the alert on his phone, prompting him to call police to report the suspected break in of his home. However, the homeowner did not wait for police to arrive, instead returning to his home to confront the suspected burglar.
When Schlager arrived at his home, he found the thief, identified as 39-year-old Seth Flint, had gained entry to his house through the back door and was packing up a bag of the homeowner’s belongings.
“When I got back to the house I saw this gentleman in my backyard, holding my bag that was inside of my laundry area,” Schlager said. “I (confronted) him in the backyard.”
That confrontation quickly escalated, with Schlager and Flint getting into a physical altercation in the yard. The homeowner says he gained the “upper hand” in the fight “pretty quickly,” causing Flint to flee the property.

If you find yourself in a fair fight your tactics suck, and Mr. Schager is very fortunate.

Too bad mom didn’t have the presence of mind to fire off a TSS into the assaulting perp.
But, under assault and stress, it’s understandable.
As for Mr Schlager, he should have approached his house with gun in hand. Yes, he was lucky.
And the two lookouts that weren’t charge by the po-po? Couldn’t they be charged with aiding and abetting?
Put wheels on that S&W 500 Mag, and Gun Bunny will snap it up in a heartbeat and place it at his North Wall.
Heh. Know a fellow who bought one and fired it exactly once. It’s now his gun safe’s reigning queen.
You know me too well, Tox! Wonder if they make a “snake shot” aka “canister/beehive” round for that Big Dog? Would prolly have to add a lanyard, don’t want a safe queen, and breaking my wrist would affect my sex life. Crew served weapons rule!
Markevious *sigh* Claw you’re up! A real “king” of dirtbags set to become a princess in Cell Block C.
A “gentleman” doesn’t break into folk’s homes and try to steal their stuff.
Bully for Teddy! We could use another Bull Moose about now.
Probably have to hand load any snake shot—-if there are boolits (cannisters?) for that caliber.
In any case, it’d keep you busy researching on line + talking to gun mavens and keep you out of trouble. Might even give some of us a fair “shot” (deliberate pun) at being FIRST on WoT.
Can neither confirm nor deny my ability to fabricate “buck n ball”. Call my lawer! I can confirm my inability to stay out of trouble. I am the person that OAM’s Mama warned her about.
I am still cleaning the sprues off of a bunch of 00 I made, and I have a .60 RB mold I am itching to try.
Too bad old Markevious isn’t achieving room temperature inside a rubber bag. Other than that, a nice Wednesday morning FGS.
Yes, Mom had the perfect excuse to send devious Markevious to the morgue where he belongs, instead of the county pound.

A friend in Alaska used his .500 mag to kill a bear that attacked him in his tent. One shot through the neck at close (3 feet) range did the trick.
“one shot through the neck…”
Hydrostatic shock + exsanguination (bleeding out) will get the job done.
Dunno, I wouldn’t want a griz to get three feet away from me.
Mr. Schlager keeps using the word “gentleman” referring to the “adam henry” breaking into Mr. Schlager’s house. I don’t think that word means what he thinks it means.
Markevious King Jr. of Little Rock/ Quite an enterprising fellow. His namesake, Markevious Senior was KIA in 2007 in a turf war.
He was charged in 2010 with 1st Degree Murder, convicted and imprisoned on 4th Degree Murder. Then got out and sued the State of Arkansas for unlawful seizure of his guns.
Anyway, he (whether Junior or Senior, makes no difference) spins up a DAM score of 136 on the Whiz Wheel®™.
Thanks, Claw.
Shouldn’t there be some sort of enhancement for a “Jr” is the “Sr” died of criminal activities as well?
Oh, look! It’s…
*grin*
Smith and Wesson 500. Strong enough to shoot through a polar bear, that a burglar is hiding behind, at your neighbor’s house.
Obligatory, of course:
I always LOVED that scene.
