OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING
2700 East Grant Road
On March 14, 2023, shortly before 3:30 p.m., the Tucson Public Safety Communications Department received multiple 9-1-1 calls from a dispensary located in the 2700 block of East Grant Road reporting an armed robbery with a firearm in progress. Officers from Operations Division Midtown responded and were provided with a description of the adult male suspect.
Upon arrival, officers began searching the area on foot for the suspect. Shortly after, a sergeant located the suspect inside what officers had been told was an occupied restaurant in the vicinity of the initial robbery.
During the encounter with the suspect, the sergeant gave him multiple commands to get on the ground. The suspect refused to comply and pointed a handgun at officers. The sergeant discharged his rifle and retreated to an area of cover.

Man calls 911 after shooting 2 people attempting to steal truck from Lynnwood hotel
A man is dead and a woman was taken to the hospital after they were shot while allegedly trying to steal a truck from a hotel in Lynnwood early Tuesday morning.
According to the Lynnwood Police Department (LPD), officers responded to the Best Western Alderwood around 2:35 a.m. Tuesday after a man in his late 20s called 911 saying he shot a man and a woman who were “in the act of stealing his truck” in the parking lot. The hotel is located on the 19300 block of 36th Avenue West, which is a couple blocks north of the Lynnwood Event Center.
The man reportedly shot at the pair while they were in his truck. The truck then rolled into the corner of a nearby business.
Lynnwood officers arrived at the scene within two minutes and found a man in his early 30s who had been shot and was “slumped over in the driver’s seat” of the truck. The LPD said a woman with apparent gunshot wounds was sitting outside of the truck when officers arrived.

Maybe it would have been better if the Lynnwood driver had NOT called the po-po, checked out of the hotel, gotten in the truck, driven off, and dumped the bodies somewhere else along the way.
It IS Washington state.

The Lynwood shooting sounds like a bad shoot. The Tucson video wasn’t anything to talk about since it really didn’t show anything graphic which most videos don’t unless you are working in the media and see the video and edit it before it is released to the public. PD usually sends its video to the news and then the news stations release it to us to view which are edited. We used American made Enfields while in Boot camp and had to carry them everywhere but not to shoot. Great for doing the 96 count manual of arms to music in the drill hall for working off demerits because I was a fuck up even before going on the LPH 3. While working off the demerits, everyone in the Barracks were in the lounge smoking and coking. did it 3 times a week along with a shit load of other fuck ups.
Believe that would have been the Pattern 17 Enfield. Cheer up, if it was good enough for Alvin York it’s good enough for you!
