Store owner says the burglary was second time he has been victimized

A would-be burglar tunneling into a smoke shop was shot dead by the store’s owner, who had taken to sleeping in the store to prevent break-ins, police said.Albuquerque Police Department officers responded to a shooting call Saturday at around 4:30 a.m. and found the deceased burglar, KRQE News reported.
The owner of the store told KOB 4 News that there had been a previous break-in attempt before the store had even officially opened for business.
The owner said he was woken by a strange sound and found that the burglar had tunneled through the wall and began waving a large hammer and a chisel causing the owner to fear for his life, the outlet said.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Douglas County.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office went to a home on Brook St. in Locust Grove after receiving a 911 call about a domestic dispute.
Deputies found a woman covered in blood trying to get away from a man with a knife inside the home, according to the GBI.
Investigators say they ordered Robernard Benjamin to drop the knife, but he charged at the woman and at deputies.

Police: Homeowner shoots intruder in Greece
Greece, N.Y. — A homeowner shot an intruder who attacked him after breaking into his house early Monday, according to police.
Officers responded to the home on Brayton Road around 4:30 a.m. for a reported burglary in progress and found the suspect with a single gunshot wound.
Police said the homeowner was asleep when he heard noises and realized someone had broken in. After the homeowner retrieved a gun, the suspect attacked him, according to police, prompting the homeowner to shoot the suspect.

I could make excuses for the TAH crowd, such as, we ain’t professionals selling our typed words in articles.
Some of us (KOFF!) even deliberately put in grammar/spelling errors for fun.
