Man shot while trying to break into Ravenswood business

CHICAGO – An 18-year-old was shot while trying to break into a business Sunday night in the Ravenswood neighborhood.

The man was found shot in the leg just before midnight in an alley behind a business in the 2600 block of West Lawrence Avenue, according to police.

Investigators determined a 40-year-old man, who was inside the business, heard noises near the back door and shot the man who was trying to enter, police said.

Kanawha deputies say Clendenin-area shooting appears to be self-defense

CLENDENIN, W.Va. — Kanawha County sheriff’s deputies say they are treating a Sunday night shooting as a case of self-defense.

Deputies said a 28-year-old man showed up at a residence on Mudlick Road at around 9:00 p.m. Sunday and was “being confrontational with everyone at the scene.”

Deputies said a short time later his 35-year-old brother shot him in the leg. The man’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

Kanawha County Chief Deputy Joe Crawford said it looks like self-defense right now.

“Preliminary indications that may be a great possibility but we’re going to collect all of the evidence and submit it to the prosecutor’s office to decide whether to present it to a grand jury,” Crawford said.

Tough love West Virginia style. Thanks for the Tuesday two-fer, Gun Bunny.

Some very good examples of Fornicate About and Discover. Little range time for the business owner and it’s good that WV dummy kept it “All in The Family”.

Mr. Madison had a way of predicting the future, didn’t he. And here we are.

All God’s Chill’ren needs them a scary black rifle, for…reasons. Mainly to prevent what Mr. Madison predicted we’d see.

No one ever lynched a willing black man holding America’s Rifle.

Or any other, so armed and willing.

So now that the 2 guys shot in the legs can now join the Army and be legs in the Infantry.

I Owned one of those so called mistated Automatic Rifles in the above pic but only fired semi auto and strangely it doesn’t look like the BAR I shot off the OKIE 3 fantail while underway.

The rifle in the pic is a semi-auto copy of the currently issued M-4 carbine, which replaced the M-16A2 issued to the Army. The M-4 is an updated version of the XM-177E2, which was issued to spec ops troops in Vietnam. I carried one for six months as a company commander.

The BAR, Browning Automatic Rifle, is an entirely different weapon from WWII. It is select-fire full auto and fires the 30.06 cartridge.

The “AR” in AR-15 or 16 stands for Armalite Rifle. Armalite was the original maker of the rifle back in the early 1960’s. The AR in the name does not stand for automatic rifle or assault rifle. Only Progs or other misinformed persons think otherwise.

America’s Rifle!

I looked at the pic too fast. I had the Armalite written in then changed everything around. I put in the mistated automatic rifle because people think that it stands for automatic rifle, and that why I put in the BAR which we had onboard the ship. I alsi deleted the time I was in the ARNG and was the Squad AR man before making hard five. I should have not deleted the last and you would have seen what I meant tongue in cheek.
