Weezer bassist Scott Shriner’s wife, Jillian Shriner, was shot by cops and booked for attempted murder after interfering with a wild police chase in Los Angeles.On Tuesday afternoon, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a hit-and-run on a freeway near the Eagle Rock neighborhood, according to a press release obtained by Page Six.
Three suspects involved fled the scene and headed toward a residential neighborhood where cops quickly barricaded off the area.
A woman, identified as Jillian, then allegedly came out of her home with a handgun.
The 51-year-old writer was allegedly told several times to drop her weapon. However, she refused and pointed it at officers.
She was then shot in an undisclosed area and ran into her home.

Suspect shot after windows shattered on 30 vehicles in KC neighborhood

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – One man was taken to a nearby hospital after he was shot when he allegedly broke into dozens of vehicles in a Kansas City neighborhood.The Kansas City Police Department tells KCTV5 News that around 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, emergency crews were called to the area of 19th and Cleveland Ave. with reports of a shooting.
Investigators noted that the caller reported he had been shot, however, they quickly realized the shooting victim matched the description of a suspect who broke into around 30 vehicles near 27th and Askew.
Law enforcement officials said they found the man had been confronted by one of the break-in victims who shot at him. The man was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Tampa dog owner pries open gator’s jaws to save pet from attack

The Brief
A Tampa dog owner saved her beloved pet from the jaws of an alligator after it attacked.
Within just a few seconds, a gator launched itself out of the lake near their house and towards her dog Kona, and with one chomp, had its entire head in its jaws.
Both the dog and owner needed stitches but are okay.
TAMPA, Fla. – A Floridian’s worst nightmare: a battle between a dog and a gator, but it was no match for the dog’s owner, who made sure her beloved pet was coming home and pulled her dog “Kona” from the alligator’s grip.Kim Spencer and her dog, Kona.
“I saw the eyes. I saw it turning itself around towards us, and I started pulling Kona away, saying, ‘Let’s go.’ But she’s a really strong dog,” described Kim Spencer.

Spencer against a 6-foot-6 gator. And she won, opening its jaws from behind and freeing her fur baby.
“Its back was to me, so it made me just jump on. We just got lucky because just as quickly as it ran after us, it ran back into the water, and we were out of there.”

All of us, at least once.
I hope the KC citizen is never ID’d, stays quiet, and basks in the knowledge of the good deed that he did for himself and his neighbors. (Plus, it was probably cathartic in its own right)

According to the commentor, Mrs. Shriner saw the carjackers fleeing and attempt to get into her yard.
She retrieved her gun from her house and went outside to confront the fleeing criminals.
The criminals saw the citizen with a gun and decided to flee in another direction.
However, one police observer could see her inside of her fence yard, although she could not see the police.
She could hear orders shouted through a bullhorn of drop the gun, but she was unaware that these order were directed at her as she thought she was alone in her fenced in yard.
She turned to enter her home and that is when the police observer obtained permission to open fire, only wounding her.
She explained all this to the police so it’s a little mysterious about the attempted murders charge.
