Return of the Camaro
You may have noticed Casey Porter around here a lot lately. He used to make videos for IVAW until Carl Webb stuck in his craw while Casey was deployed to Iraq last year. Webb tried to get him to sabotage US equipment and he refused to do it and bailed from IVAW when he returned.
Currently, Casey has withdrawn from all political activity and is focusing on his career as a film maker.
Here’s an example of his work – it’s on one of my favorite subjects – the Camaro. I’ve been a Chevy lover most of my life and aside from a few Mustangs, an International Harvester Scout and a VW van, that’s all I’ve owned.
Porter asked me if I’d share it with you folks so here’s Casey’s video about the new 2010 Camaro for your pleasure;
Category: Pointless blather
I’d love to grab one of these, a 2010 Shelby Mustang and a 2010 Challenger R/T…the muscle car trifecta.
So Detroit can’t build cars anymore…….
Won’t buy the obamaro, sorry.
I’ll stick to my infatuations with Mustangs, thank you very much. So I guess that makes me biased anyway.
Of course, I still think they could’ve done a bit more with the body design, but whatever.
Sponge,
Dude, show some Chevy love man. The design is kind of retro especially from the front. The Mustang and Charger have done the same thing. Besides, thi was designed and built before Obama took over.
Nuthin’ more American than a muscle car. My 1st car was a 1974 Chevy Nova…..big cajones!
Thank you very much John for posting this. Clearly, the Camaro is a superior car.
In keeping with the Camaro theme – free pizza from Papa John’s today to all Camaro owners

Sigh.
I’m not liking it.
I’m partial to 69’s (http://myspace.com/69camaro454) and I don’t want “refinement.”
I want brutality.
Great film, tho.
BTW Casey, nice video. Where was this shot? Parts look like they came from the North American Auto Show.
I’m with you OldCavLt – the ’67s and ’68s were the best, in my opinion. They started going downhill with “70 1/2”, but it’s still a great design to bring back. Now if they’d just put a 327 CID dual 4 bbl in it.
Obviously this is a man post. I’ll just go click on the google ads to entertain myself. Later guys…..
I also have a 67 SS. A true SS, not a clone, that is full restored. This was actually shot in Austin, Texas.
Man, I do love the Camaro. PreTTy… Reminds me of the days I yearned for that Dodge Stealth or Mitsubishi 3000GT.
Dude down the street from me had an old ’69 RS with the 302DZ engine. Thing was fricking sweet looking, and RARE as hell. Another friend of mine has an original ’69 Camaro Indy Pace Car. Love that one too.
“…withdrawn from all political activity?” What does that mean?
It means you can’t crash on his couch anymore, Carl. Nice video, Casey.
