Gainesville man looks at child porn while deputies search his home for child porn, sheriff says
A Gainesville was arrested after he viewed images of child pornography on his computer as deputies were searching his home for child pornography, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
Alan Neil Thur, 75, was arrested on seven child pornography charges this week.
The sheriff’s office got a tip that Thur had uploaded child pornography on his computer. They executed a search warrant at his home on Bluff Valley Circle on March 14..
“As deputies carried out the search, Thur was viewing five images of child pornography on his computer,” deputies wrote in an incident report.
Mr. Thur is going to have a very unpleasant time in lock-up. And that’s just a shame.
Boise police name 22-year-old suspect shot by officers after car chase near Timberline HS

The Boise Police Department on Wednesday identified Gavin Donithorne, 22, as the suspect involved in a shooting last week near Timberline High School.According to the initial press release, authorities had been searching for Donithorne after he allegedly sent his family “threatening messages.” He was driving to Boise from Oregon.
Boise police and the Ada County Sheriff’s Office located Donithorne in southeast Boise after following his vehicle in a pursuit. Officials said Donithorne pointed and “appeared to discharge” a weapon at officers after he exited his car.

Every time the missus and I visit the LGS she picks one up and begs. With her bd coming up, it might come home with me next time. She won’t listen that a 10/22 is just a small jump in price, we have extra parts (two is one, one is none), and offers more functionality.

Chip LBs are well build, lock up fine, ergonomics/controls kinda suck a little, but as a ‘put away’ for a ‘oh sh*t gun’?

I can kinda see why someone would want a BB gun or airsoft gun that mimics the feel and action of their carry piece(s) – but getting one that looks like the real thing is ungood, and to be stupid enough to use one to commit a crime is double-ungood worthy of death.
Back in 98 I had purchased a Walter P88. It helped me keep my sanity while I waited for back surgery. It looked very real and even the muzzle was 9mm with the actual bore size of .177 recessed so you had to look very close to see it. It was a lot of fun and very accurate. Great for tin cans and paper but not for serious business. Loaned it to someone and haven’t seen it since. Forgot who that was and no one will own up to it.

Child molesters and perverts are the most despicable people on Earth. IMHO there is no punishment too harsh to be dealt out to them. Odd that we have some segments of society prosecuting those types and another segment that is promoting the public grooming of children.

Should be obvious, by now, that it will be up to the individual to protect their individual rights. But, then again, its always been that way.
