Senate Dem choices

| December 8, 2022

Well, one is mundane: Chuck Schumer  (D – NY LSOS) was re-elected as the Senate Majority leader handily in a ho-hum election. No surprises, no fireworks. You know that change in leadership, young blood, new directions they like to talk about? Here’s where the rubber meets the road… same old, same old.    Yahoo

The only mild surprise of the day was that the President Pro Tempore, aka the President Pro Tem, did NOT go to the customary ranking majority Senator. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is 89 and, to be kind, rumored to be in less than perfect command of her faculties. Sen. Patty Murray (D-CA) has been in the Senate since ’92 like Feinstein but is younger by 17 years, and supposedly does not ask the same questions repeatedly, forget who she is talking to, and fall asleep in mid-conversation like some other California senators. I guess that is better for someone who ranks right behind the Speaker of the House in the Presidential succession.  Now if they could only do something about the equally befuddled #1 on that list….   Insider

Meh, SSDD.

When finished doing your business please ensure to flush your Chuck U. Schumer completely.

Thank you,

Hey New York (the real part), emancipate yourselves by divorce. Hudson State. Think about it.

Murray ‘represents’ the ‘state’ of Washington(-in-name-only) since 1993.

A vacuous hyena hypocrite sucker of [redacted] pretending to be Vice pResident was the other CA Senator, replaced by Padilla via appointment.

Feel free to nuke this comment.

Term limits! Yeah, like that’s gonna happen.

Insanity is voting for the same swamp creature time after time and expecting a different result.

Murray spoke at my commissioning ceremony by talking about the good old days when she was protesting the Vietnam war. Tone deaf. Thanks, Murray. Thanks, alma mater. I didn’t even know who she was at the time but have had a deep and abiding dislike for her policies ever since. Yet another reason I won’t be retiring to my home state.

Kind of off topic, but I’ve always been curious about this…
When they commission officers, do they hit them with a bottle of champagne?

My former weapons squad would have, for being so stupid…. But now that they’ve all ETSd or retired, they’re all big for me.

Patty Murray is dumber than a box of rocks. I dealt with the dummy before I retired. She has to totally rely on her staff to lead her around about like old Joe. She has never had an original thought. It’s a damn shame the lady that ran against her and is married to an Iraqi War Vet( Tiffany Smiley) did not take her place. It is pretty much impossible for a Republican to win a state wide election in this state. The Abortion issue continues to keep it from happening. The people of the Greater Seattle area control the state. I don’t see it changing anytime soon. If I wasn’t so old I would un-ass this place.

Same as Minnesota. In each election cycle, when you look at the map, the entire state is RED. The only blue areas are the Twin Cities, and Duluth. But that’s where the majority of the people live in Minnesota. The state has a population of around 4 million, and around 3 million of those live in the cities. And most of those people are not blue collar, working class; so they vote to the left, and think Amy Klobuchar is the greatest thing since the Virgin Mary.

To be fair, the GØP ain’t getting us out of this either.

Corruption can only get so far before it can’t…

GOP talks a lot but doesn’t do much. I don’t expect much from them, I vote Republican in hopes that they will grow some balls but I’m not holding my breath either.

Roh-Dog

I expect them to waffle, show their bellies, pee on the rug and cave to asinine demands for the ‘sake of unity’, all while getting fat paid by their handlers.

I stepped in a pile of Schumer once. Tried to scrape it off but as
soon as I got back in the truck and turned on the heat the stink
had me puking. Even my own dog was clawing at the windows
trying to get out. Local detail shop wanted $150 up front with no
guarantees. Every time I see Schumers photo I can smell it.
