Investigation finds Black airman faked racist text messages from supervisor
Airman will face Uniform Code of Military Justice punishment for fabricating the exchange
A U.S. Air Force investigation found that a Black airman in Arizona faked racist texts from a supervisor to claim skin color played a role in the service member being denied a special duty assignment, and he will now face Uniform Code of Military Justice punishment.
“The 56th Fighter Wing has concluded its investigation into reports that an airman was denied a special duty assignment by their supervisor based upon their demographic identity,” a Luke Air Force Base spokesman said in a statement Tuesday, according to Military.com. “Following an exhaustive investigation, authorities determined that the statements published did not occur and the text messages were fake.”
The controversy originated in May, when the Black airman sent screenshots of the alleged text messages to the popular Air Force amn/nco/snco Facebook page and claimed they were from a supervisor who denied the service member a special duty assignment. The post quickly went viral, leading to the investigation.

The sad part, this is happening all over. If you deny any black an opportunity, they claim you’re a racist. Then it’s you that have to justify your actions. It’s no longer about merit or respect. Most poor and uneducated minority will say. “Just give me what I want or I will call you a racist.” Sad

That article falsely claims that these hoaxes are “rare.” Rare, my ass! There are literally hundreds of them in the past thirty years. Likely, many are never reported in the national media. Especially, when all the fake rapes and crimes against gays are included, like Matthew Shepard and the Duke Lacrosse team

This is what will happen.
They will appoint a fact-finding body to investigate. Airman in question will point to an atmosphere of perceived intimidation and lack of opportunity which in turn leads to him feeling like he had no choice in his behavior. Then he will be given a pass and the command will issue a command climate survey but will be tagged with failure to provide the proper culture of ‘inclusivity’ and employee comfort.
You know how this works. Don’t be surprised.

To a man, if we found someone acting outside that guideline, justice got served without the involvement of higher pay grades.

This is so weird, it’s like that time that woman got arrested for DUI and said the police raped her. Or that other time that the woman got arrested for DUI and said the police raped her. Or that other time that woman got arrested for DUI and said the police raped her. Except that time Shaun King doxed the officer and called him a rapist racist and he started getting death threats. Except he doxed the wrong officer and then they both were getting death threats.

I guess fake racism is the new fake sexual assault. Don’t try to tell me it never happened, there was a reason every time I counseled an opposite sex soldier the door was open and there was another NCO standing within earshot.

Part of the Airman’s punishment ought to be to post at the main gate, wearing the dress uniform, and wearing a sign that briefly describes what he/she did – during peak traffic hours.
Preferably with a tomato stand nearby.
There is a very large demand for racism but very little supply, so those who need it have to make it for themselves.
