On Wednesday, North Korea launched two suspected KN-23 Iskander class short-range ballistic missiles toward its east coast, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said. They were launched from the Sunan area of Pyongyang and flew about 224 miles down range at an altitude of ~120,000 ft.
The missile test came three days after North Korea fired a single short-range ballistic missile, also a suspected Iskander-class. This launch came a day before South Korea and the United States kicked off joint navy drills.
The Wednesday launches also came a day before VEEP Kamala Harris arrived in Seoul. These were the North’s first ballistic missile tests since Biden’s visit in May, and they weren’t done.

North Korea has been ramping up its ballistic missile testing under the Biden administration, with former senior Trump administration officials warning that Pyongyang could launch a nuclear or ICBM test before the U.S. midterm elections.
North Korea fired two shorter-range ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan on Thursday, just hours after Vice President Kamala Harris had toured the DMZ. The South Korean and Japanese militaries said the missiles traveled 180 to 217 miles. These are the fourth and fifth short-range ballistic missiles the DPRK has launched in the last five days as Harris has been visiting Japan and South Korea, and the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
Pyongyang conducted similar missile tests before President Biden visited Seoul in June.

Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for East Asia Heino Klinck predicted this week that North Korea is “on the verge of a nuclear test or another ICBM test.”
“Under the Trump administration, we were able to keep a lid on nuclear tests and ICBM tests,” Klinck told Fox News. “If they repeat that cycle, that is an escalation and a provocation.”
If this is another opportunity for the Biden Administration to excel in foreign policy, I expect a North Korean nuke test very soon. I’m also looking forward to how the silly French woman with The Binder will try to spin the event.
An aside, on her visit to the DMZ Kamala enthusiastically endorsed our strong alliance with North Korea.
Does anyone seriously think these, people, are savvy enough to blow up the Nord Stream pipeline and not get caught?

Not a matter of IF KimCheese is gonna pop a nuke, but a matter of WHEN and WHERE he’s gonna pop one…or his Chinese Communists Handlers. Anybody do the math on his short range practicing and how far off the coast of the US a container ship with one of these on it would need to be to pop an EMP over Kansas? There will be very little reaction time for a defense.
