VoteVets blogger struggles with reading comprehension

| July 15, 2009

OK, so dipshit extra-ordinaire Jim Staro had up the post at his personal site about the white supremacists in the Army that ran in the Stars and Stripes last week.  It’s still SPLC trying to make a name for themselves if you ask me, but whatever.  So, I decided to challenge Dim on why a Staff Sergeant in the Army would screw up his own rank.  Note the quotations around the first section, showing I took it from his post.

“I have been in the Army for over 5 years now … I am a SSGT … I have been in Iraq and Kuwait … I love and will do anything to keep our master race marching. I have been a skinhead forever.”

Since the abbreviation for Staff Sergeant in the Army is not SSGT, (it is SSG) and since none of the stories of military service have been verified, I guess you don’t mind maligning our brothers and sisters in uniform, eh Jim?

I mean, you of all people after falling for Rick Duncan should know better than to believe everything you see. Say hi to any phony veterans you see. I miss Duncan and Josh Landale, heroic guy that he is.

Now, Jim responded. Twice actually. And I’ve read his responses about 1o times now, and I have no clue what in the hell he is trying to say. Can someone help?

If you stop in again, your kind wasn’t appreciated back in our day and isn’t now, if you’re even military, and a proud? skinhead, which means you Kept Your Mouth Shut When Taking Your Oath!!!

Sorry slick, one day You might just figure that out, but we don’t hold our breaths that you will!!

By the way ‘tso’, small case for a little man, just your comment shows, that ‘if?’ military you most certainly do Not serve honorably, your Most Important Responsibility, as an NCO, is the Protection and Security of those you lead! By your comment you Admit That Those You Hate should reap that which is espoused in the ideology you follow, meaning almost, or All more likely, you are leading, cannot count on You Having Their Backs In Time Of Combat or similar situations! Guess what, They Know This!!!!!!!

This rocket scientist talk is giving me a headache.

Is he implying that by my quoting from his article I am a racist? Way confused.

I think what Staro was trying to say was that it is hard for him to speak rationally with his head up his a**

Old Tanker

Spew alert next time Claymore!

Why does this guy capitalize the first letter of nearly every word?

I’m curious, I got out after 3 1/2 years and had just made my E-5. I went in as a PFC due to having some college credits……is it possible to make E-6 in 5 years? I was thinking you needed time-in-service of 6 years and at least time as an E-5 of 2 years…..am I wrong?

NHSparky

Even in the nuclear Navy, PO1 (E-6) in five years is extremely rare these days, even with STAR reenlistments. I was lucky to have made it in six, although it was interesting the look the nearly geriatric buck Sgt (AF E-4) got on his face when I, all of 24 years old, handed him my ID card after he was just SURE I had no business being in the “Top 4 Club” at Hickham AFB.

That being said, WTF is that guy saying? Dude take a little too much of the bong water this morning, or what?

B Woodman

Sounds as if he needs to either:
1-Go back on his prescription meds
-OR-
2-Go off the NyQuil.

BohicaTwentyTwo

In addition to the NewSaxon SSGT (with an extra S for savings), I remember the SPLC talking about a Marine lance corporal who listed his boot camp platoon as his unit that he went to Iraq with or some other nonsense.

nucsnipe

I made E-6 in under 6 but that was with the STAR reenlistment. Then I spent the next 14 years pounding my head against the chiefs board to no avail.

Sean

Sounds as if asshat boy thinks you were the skinhead talking and not the Alleged Skinhead GI with Service indentification issues….. Mixed with a threat

Glenn Cassel AMH1(AW) USN RET

E6 that fast! Wow, I made AMH2(E5) in just over 3 years and AMH1(E6) in just over 8 years. coincentally that was the last time the Navy CPO board picked over 100 AMHCs. The pickins got slim after that and then the rules changed and old airframe-hydraulic power guys were no longer competitive.
It took my eldest son ten years to make SSG in the Army Reserve in 2007.

Just A Grunt

Not sure what sort of NCO schools james went to but it was sort of stressed that the #1 mission, responsibility of an NCO was to accomplish the mission. Taking care of the troops obviously helped make sure that that would happen.

UpNorth

Just….wow! If anyone finds a terp who understands what Staro is saying, and can decipher it, would you please post it? I’ve seen messes like that before, but my sons were 1st or 2nd graders at the time, and had trouble stringing intelligent sentences together.
