Guilty plea entered in Arizona related to ballot scheme

| June 3, 2022

Guillermina Fuentes of Arizona pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of illegally collecting early ballots. She was facing a more serious charge of forgery and conspiracy, which were dropped as a result of her plea agreement for what she ultimately pleaded guilty to.

From Newsmax:

Fuentes and a second woman were indicted in December 2020 on one count of ballot abuse, a practice commonly known as “ballot harvesting” that was made illegal under a 2016 state law. The conspiracy, forgery and an additional ballot abuse charge against Fuentes were added last October.

Fuentes said little during a change of plea hearing in southwestern Arizona’s Yuma County on Thursday, just acknowledging the judge’s questions with “yes” as he asked whether she had read and understood the plea agreement.

Fuentes, a former San Luis mayor who is an elected board member of the Gadsden Elementary School District in San Luis, could be sentenced to up to two years in prison, but that would require a judge to find aggravating circumstances. The plea agreement leaves the sentence up to a judge, who could give her probation, home confinement, and a hefty fine for her admission to illegally collecting and returning four voted ballots.

Sentencing was set for June 30. She will lose her voting rights and must give up elected office.

Attorney Anne Chapman said in an email Thursday that she had no comment on the charges against her client.

But she slammed Arizona’s ballot collection law, saying it impedes minority voters who have historically relied on others to help them vote. She said “this prosecution shows that the law is part of ongoing antidemocratic, statewide, and national voter suppression efforts.”

One, but no consequences of note.
Next.
And nothing else will happen.
We need public whippings and then take just about all their assets, less roof over their heads and some food on their table. GUT THEM. DESTROY THEM. Anything less is just a waste of time.

Naw, when the Roots of the Poisonous Tree are found, every mechanism of thievery exposed and severed, there is but one compulsory punishment for:

Actually, I have read several articles that stated there are a whoooole bunch of folks in prison for voter fraud, all democrat, but the propaganda media smothers those stories. If the socialist democrats knew they could very well go to prison for committing those crimes, a lot less of them would commit them. Thus the radio silence on that subject.

ChipNASA

Maybe that’s a good thing. They’ll keep committing crimes and getting caught. Double edged sword.

There is a strange good ole boy, Masonic/Mormon 33rd degree of Ra network that is starting to crumble as more light is shed on the Rino/Demoncrat Collusion.

Makes me wonder if John McCain’s Abscam Keating 5 mess was just an FBI recruitment tool…His record was even worse for conservatives after he was so called cleared. Strange times indeed!

“But she, (Defense Attorney Anne Chapman), slammed Arizona’s ballot collection law, saying it impedes minority voters who have historically relied on others to help them vote.”

Help them vote?

Does anyone see a problem with this? Anyone?

rgr769

Naw, minority voters need an armed Black Panther to go in the voting booth with them or other location to “help” them fill out their ballots.

A Proud Infidel®™

Yeah, it’s obvious that the D-rats constantly screech that minorities MUST be directed on how to think and vote.

KoB

But there was no cheating in the 2020 election, right LC?

Deckie

Yeahhhh that Maricopa county election audit was so successful. The company doing the audit was incompetent and the county election officials were less than forthcoming with information. End result was both sides claiming victory and the voters knowing even less than before the audit. Spectacular clusterfuck.

Mason

Just like Trump’s election integrity efforts after taking office. They had to shut down because the states wouldn’t cooperate. Makes you wonder why…

rgr769

Anyone who thinks there was no cheating needs to watch DeSouza’s “2000 Mules.” Some of the ballot “mules” delivered ballots to drop boxes as many as 35 times. Video shows them using rubber gloves to deposit the multiple ballots, so they don’t leave fingerprints. Moreover, they can be seen on video photo’ing the drop boxes with their cell phones to prove each visit, so they can get paid for it.

LC

There was no wide-spread cheating that affected the election, yes.

If you go back through all my comments, you’ll find I’ve always maintained there will be isolated counts of fraud. In this case, the woman had a grand total of four ballots for the primary election, not even the general election. Seeing this as some kind of evidence that the 2020 election was stolen is like jumping three inches off the ground and claiming you’re an astronaut.

As another example of this kind of (sadly) routine fraud, multiple Republican politicians in Michigan were recently disqualified from the ballot after entire sheets of signatures were found to be faked:

LC

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/06/01/perry-johnson-michigan-governor-fraud-appeals/

Now, you can look at this and scream ‘deep state’ and try to connect the dots to some broader conspiracy… or, you can chalk it up to lazy people hired to get signatures who just faked them instead. I tend to fall in the latter category. This shit happens a lot, and I hope, on both sides, everyone is held accountable for it. But it ain’t evidence of the kind of wide-spread fraud needed to change the 2020 election. Trump lost fair and square, and I’m sorry if that hurts your feelings.

For a broader look at election fraud, the (conservative) Heritage Foundation tracks cases here:

KoB, if you’re watchin’, sure-nuf looks like El Cee is startin’ to talk like us.

If he keeps nosin’ round here, we gonna make a slow-talkin’, quick-thinkin’, good ol’ boy outta that cat yet, cuz he ain’t quite the hopeless case ol’ Lars is. That California cat’s got squirrels swimmin’ in his gene pool while El Cee’s just got all his brain cells on the left side of his head. We keep smackin’ him upside his big ol’ left ear long enough, mebbe we can knock a few of ’em back to the right side.

Know what I mean, King? 😜 😝 😜

If brains were gasoline, Major Moonbat aka lars wouldn’t even have enough to make a pissant’s moped go halfway around a Cheerio!

KoB

Yep, I know whatcha mean Ol’ Poe. Betcha if we fed LC some good ol’ Southern Cookin’ we could turn him from the dark side right quickly. 😜 I’ve never had my feelings hurt by LC and appreciated his input here. And not perxactly sure where he is, but I know for a fact there has and was all kinds of voter fraud down here for decades. A little on both sides but very heavy on the demonrat side. ‘specially around Atlanta and the other metro areas. Most repubs were dems here until about 20 years ago, and now the repubs are rinos. I’m reminded of a story about Sen Herman Talnadge and when he got caught up in his tomfoolery. I asked folks that had known and voted for him for, “what the fuk?” Answer, “He may be dirty and a crook, but he’s our dirty crook.”

Still can’t grasp the hate of Trump. He did try to do what was best for the country. I miss the economic and peaceful state of 2 years ago.

poetrooper

“Still can’t grasp the hate of Trump.”

If you remember back to 2016, King, ol’ Poe reluctantly came to the support of Donald Trump. I viewed him then as the brash, trash-talking, know-it-all New Yorker that I had become familiar with in my military service years.

I didn’t like those guys who thought America began and ended in New York City, and I didn’t like him. But in 2016, Poe would have voted for Satan, himself, if he were the choice against Hillary.

In 2024, we’re going to have better choices. Right now, that Florida governor who’s kicking ass with all the woke corporations is looking very electable to this ol’ geezer. He’s far more eloquent than Trump and doesn’t inspire all the visceral blowback that Trump does.

If Trump runs, he’s only going to polarize the already polarized political scene further. He needs to step aside and let the younger leader take the top spot.

SFC D

I might be inclined to agree on your statement “you can chalk it up to lazy people hired to get signatures who just faked them instead” if it hadn’t happened so totally against the republican candidates.

USMC Steve

Wrong answer again on that one. But you will never believe it. Raffensberger, the attorney general of Georgia flat out stated there was substantial election fraud in that state, and that he had no intention of doing anything about it. I guess that sort of thing just flied over your radar though, huh?

LC

You mean the same Raffensperger who sent Congress a ten page letter explaining that there wasn’t substantial fraud in Georgia?

https://sos.ga.gov/sites/default/files/2022-02/Letter_to_Congress_from_Secretary_Raffensperger_%281-6-21%29.pdf

That’s my link, straight from the GA SOS office — where’s yours where he claims the opposite? And where he says he won’t do anything about fraud, contrary to all the actions they’ve already taken when they do find cases?

I’ll wait.

A Proud Infidel®™

“Fuentes, a former San Luis mayor who is an elected board member of the Gadsden Elementary School District in San Luis,…”
Part of a local School Board, wotta surprise.

“But she slammed Arizona’s ballot collection law, saying it impedes minority voters who have historically relied on others to help them vote. She said “this prosecution shows that the law is part of ongoing antidemocratic, statewide, and national voter suppression efforts.””

That’s right in lockstep with today’s DNC propaganda.

Docduracoat

Everyone is talking about how the Democrats are going to be crushed in the midterms and likely in 2024
I am extremely worried that massive cheating will put whoever they run in office over Trump or DeSantis

poetrooper

You can bet the farm they’re going to go balls to the wall since they now know the media and the RINO’s will look the other way… 😡 😡 😡

KoB

Spot on Doc and poe. Done said that my ownself several times and LC went all “no proof of cheat blah blah blah”. As many of us have commented, It matters not who votes, it matters who counts the votes. These depotic tyrants are not willing to give up their power and they are so close to realizing their wet dream of destroying America. Control the vote, control the gunz, and now you can control the people.

I feel the same as y’all, and many others. They have voted us into Socialism and we ARE going to have to shoot our way out. No doubt at all the 2020 GA Election was filled with nefarious activities and many people here feel that our rino grubernator swapped 2 Senate Seats and a Presidential Election to get his job. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Abrams steals the election from Kemp.

Democrats will have Ryder trucks loaded with pallots of 6000 pre-printed Democrat ballots (each) ready to show up a 2am to be “found” when needed wherever Republicans might even be close.

Ask ol’ gropey-gus Al “Stuart Smalley” Franken how that works.

There it is. I have said it before, they are not going to stop this shit until some of them bleed for it. Dislike the comment all you want, that is the reality of it.

Not that it’s obvious or anything…

Governor Gretch the Wretch has had the Board of Elections remove 3 of the front running Republicans from the primary election ballot. Seems they found “questionable” signatures on some ballots, so looking at a couple of signatures on several petitions, they found some kind of algorithm to say that the 5 leading candidates have to be removed from the ballot.
Ya don’t have to worry about your opponents when you can simply have them thrown off the ballot.
But, not a single dem candidate for any office was found to have submitted any bad petitions.
And the Michigan Supreme Court denied the appeals of the Republicans thrown off the ballot. Coincidentally, the Supreme Court is split 4 to 3 in favor of the dems.

rgr769

IIRC, that is how Barrack the Great managed to beat his competitor in his first primary election.

USMC Steve

No one is supposed to help anyone vote. You do it yourselv. What that lawyer was really talking about was helping illegals who cannot read or speaka de English illegally vote and crap along those lines. As far as it being antidemocratic, yep it sure is. Anti- democrat, not anti-democratic. The state has absolutely no obligation to handhold voters so they can vote. They can get off their asses and do it or not. That is on them.
