OK Dave,
I’m old and angry and bitter and basically have a shitty attitude but I *AM* a nice guy and all that.
Seeing this kinda thing makes me want to consider adopting a well deserving Ukrainian woman, but alas, I don’t exist in their Universe and I don’t have the type of money with which to overcome that barrier, (hell for *any* women, from any country, for that matter) but, I can white knight for them and give them my Internet heart.
For that young lady, I’d respectfully follow, two steps to the rear and to the right, (Is that the correct pacing? Correct me if I’m wrong.) carrying her ammo, a un-ratfucked MRE, fresh water and her spare iron thong.  😘

Hillary Vaughn, Fox Business: CBP source says DHS is trying to figure out how to get enough medical personnel to provide the COVID vaccines the Biden administration promised migrants – as well as staff to handle any medical issues many migrants will have.

One idea being floated: pulling medical personnel from Veterans Affairs to assist “We’re going to take medical services away from people that really deserve that. Who went to combat…to give free medical attention to illegal migrants” CBP source tell me.

Interesting song choice about the Ukrainian Female Soldier, yet for some strange reason, some folks on TAH do not care to have US Female Soldiers on the front lines, back lines, middle lines, any lines….

And again, back to our Nation. When will we stop taking care of others via US Federal $$$$ and start taking care of our own? We contradict ourselves. We claim we have starving children, but look how many are aborted on a daily basis. We claim starving children, but look how many are having health issues because of obesity, lack of exercise, parents not choosing to cook a well balance meal anymore.

Our family does not want to get involve in another Vietnam…in another Korea…in another Afghanistan…in another Iraq…Take care of ourselves and make the United Nations do their frikin job!!

Lord knows I would prefer that we stay out of this. However, as one of the engineers that I worked with at my first job once said, “Wish in one hand, s*** in the other…guess which one fills up first.” If ordered, I would go, but God help the bastards who sent me there when I got back. There’s no upside to it and no national interest served by such an adventure.

The American public doesn’t have the stomach for a war over Ukraine and I don’t believe the American military is properly prepared or led to conduct an efficient one…

Then again, we were in a similar situation prior to both World Wars… and our hesitation in both cases only made the wars worse when we finally had to commit.

I’m not saying that the current war in Ukraine will necessarily boil over into WWIII, itself; I’m suggesting that continued inaction on our part will encourage action by others looking to take advantage of a global power vacuum…

China hasn’t had better political conditions to move on Taiwan. Iran is emboldened and unhappy with Israel’s newfound sunni partners. A couple weeks ago, India (supposedly) accidentally launched a cruise missile into Pakistan (thankfully, nothing came out of that but angry words). There’s a growing anti-American 5th column within our own government. The world’s a powder keg, and we’re encouraging the kids to play with matches.
