Not all federal laws “overrule State laws” regardless of what Jen Psaki and Judge Sonia Sotomayor* think. Only laws made “in pursuance of the Constitution” are “the supreme Law of the Land.”
Federal laws made contrary to the 10th Amendment are not the supreme Law of the Land.
*She of the statement: “100,000 children are seriously ill with COVID, many on ventilators.” That is a statement that is both totally false and even more importantly, is not contained in any of the briefs filed in the case. That second part is particularly troubling.
Exactly. She is following the misguided trail of Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg, who thought her personal opinion was law.
