CHP: K9 officer Beny sniffs out 1 pound of heroin, 1,000 fentanyl pills during traffic stop

by: Halle Sembritzki
MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – K-9 officer Beny helped CHP officers arrest two people who were found with heroin and fentanyl pills on Friday, according to CHP officials.

CHP investigators say an officer conducted an enforcement stop on a 2018 Jeep for violating multiple California vehicle codes while driving, including an illegal window tint and following too closely to another vehicle.

According to officials, the CHP officer developed probable cause to search the vehicle and located a suspicious bundle inside the passenger’s luggage.

K-9 officer Beny was then called to the scene to sniff the bundle, alerting the officer to the odor of narcotics.

Shooting Death Ruled Self-Defense after Man was Followed Home

By Christian Xaypanya
Valdosta Police ruled the shooting of an armed man, Lyndon Williams, 25, self-defense after he followed another man home who was armed as well.

Williams followed the man, who was coming home from work, for several miles and confronted him while allegedly producing a firearm once arriving at his home, investigators said.

The man, according to VPD, was able to obtain his own firearm, shooting and killing Williams in self-defense.

No charges will be filed against the man who was followed home.

K-9 Officer Beny is my Hero! Y’all may recall Beny was featured here a coupla weeks ago after a major sniff job. Y’all may have noticed, too, that most of the dirtbags that are pulled over and busted for dope have done something really teh stoopid for a moving violation. There’s another “Major spapos” around here that prolly does sniff jobs.

Good on the Citizen for taking out the trash. And good on the Court system for recognizing that the trash needed taking out.

I guess that the gun pr0n for today is that Fur Missile? Works for me. ‘sides, you’ll make it up to us tomorrow.
