Man In Critical Condition After Woman He Tried To Attack Shot Him: Police

A man is in the hospital in critical condition after a woman he tried to attack shot him, police say.

The incident took place at approximately 2:22 p.m. Miami-Dade Police Department responded to the 163 Street Mall near North Miami Beach after reports of a shooting.

When police arrived, they discovered an adult male with gunshot wounds. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported him to an area hospital in critical condition.

Police says the preliminary investigation revealed that an adult female was in her vehicle when the male approached her and began to bang on her window and attack her. As a result, she shot him.

Boy shot after man returns paintball fire with real gunfire
Thinking his home was under attack, a Florida homeowner says he shot and wounded a 10-year-old whose father had driven him to participate in a drive-by shooting with a paintball gun

MIAMI — Thinking his home was under attack, a Florida homeowner shot and wounded a 10-year-old whose father had driven him to participate in a drive-by shooting with a paintball gun, police said.

Michael Williams, 26, told Opa-locka police his son begged him to drive by a home where young people were gathered Sunday night so he could fire his paintball out the window, according to a police report released Tuesday.

Williams drove by the home as his son fired off several rounds, police said. The homeowner confused the paintball for real gunfire, telling police he thought his family was being attacked. He fired one shot, which struck the child. The boy then lost his balance and was run over by his father’s vehicle, police said.

No additional details on the child’s injuries or condition were released. Williams drove the child home and his mother called 911, according to police.

As I have stood in the crosshairs of those who target Second Amendment freedoms, I’ve realized that firearms are not the only issue. No, it’s much, much bigger than that. I’ve come to understand that a cultural war is raging across our land, in which, with Orwellian fervor, certain acceptable thoughts and speech are mandated. — Charlton Heston

Hack Stone missed that episode of Leave It To Beaver where Ward took Wally and The Beav on a driveby.

A bit more details of this idiocy. Just enough to make you wince when you realize they are humans.

wow…just…wow.

I don’t even want to think about what my dad would have done to me if I had asked him to help me with a drive by shooting–even with a water pistol.

Being a dad sure has changed since my kids moved out if this is acceptable.

What a douche canoe that guy is.

But…I’m sure he will sue everyone cause his little boy was harvard material

Here’s to hoping that “critical condition” turns into “terminal fatal condition”. At the very least, maybe a slip of the surgeon’s knife so that no more like this dirtbag are spawned.

Dad of the Year award for taking his boy for an outing of quality Father/Son time. /s/ Not only does dear old dad (sic) need some parenting skilz, some driving lessons may be in order.

The Henry Big Boy…*sigh*. Don’t want to think about how Ex Mrs. #2 pitched a hissy AND a conniption fit when The Gun Bunny coulda got one back yonder for about $250 USD. She just HAD to have a new outfit(s). When I finally got fed up with that be-yotch and jumped the dog fence to make my escape, the outfit(s) were still hanging in the closet…with the price tags still attached.

The Federal Troops armed with Henry Repeaters, at the Battle of Griswoldville, decimated the ranks of the Georgia Militia, 97 KIA, some 500 WIA. Politics and Mrs. Winchester’s political pull bankrupted Henry’s Company and enabled Mrs. Winchester to take over the patents and plant after the War.

You may be mixing up Spencer and Henry.

Henry was built by New Haven which was later renamed Winchester after the success of the 1866 Model which laid the foundation for later Winchester success. The 1866 was a bronze alloy rifle and the original “Yellow Boy” model. It was very successful and spurred European response development of several new arms such as the Mosin-Nagant.

Spencer was it’s own company but after the war was bought out by the Fogarty Rifle Company who then went bankrupt and sold out to Winchester. Spencer went on to make a fortune in sewing machines.

About ten times as many Spencers were made during the war. There were tons of them at Griswoldeville and they are generally credited with the high casualty rate. The Georgia militia that was laid low had practically no experienced soldiers. It was manned mostly with old men and young teenagers, which was all the South could pull together that late in the war.

Nope, not confusing the 2, quite familiar with the “Load on Sunday, Shoot all week” Spencer. Both repeaters were used at Griswoldville, with many of the infantry carrying the Spencer as an everyday firearm, purchased by the troops with their own money (as was many of the Henrys). Big Army did not want to issue many repeaters during that time, fearing that the private didn’t need more than 40 rounds and didn’t want them to “waste” ammunition. Didn’t mention the Spencer in this comment since the gunz pr0n was of the Henry. On the subject of the Confederate Georgia Militia Troops at Griswoldville, yes a number of them were old men and young boys (the oldest documented KIA was 72, the youngest KIA 14, the youngest WIA was 8). That being said, a larger number of them, in particular the Athens, Augusta, and Macon Battalions were the mechanics and assorted men that had been exempt from the draft to work in the factories. They were well drilled, and for the most part well led, considered to be crack troops. They gave a very good accounting of themselves at the Battles of Ezra Church, Peachtree Creek, Atlanta, Sunshine Church, Jonesboro, and Lovejoy Station, among other skirmishes. The biggest problem they had a Griswoldville was the immediate BG Commanding, Pleasant J. Phillips, reputed to be drunk on spirits and/or power, believing that his troops outnumbered the Federals on that hill, and knowing that they were good troops, disobeyed direct orders “to NOT engage any of “those people”, but take a direct route to Augusta to defend the powder works there”, ordering his subordinate commanders to assault. The Confederate Artillery took out the Federal Guns within the opening moments of the fight, wounding the Federal Commander (Walcutt) in the process. A battle that should have never happened. Upon withdrawing at dusk, the Johnny Rebs marched back to Macon, in the sleet and snow, leaving their bloody, bare footprints and a number of killed and wounded. Arriving back to Macon, they boarded a train to Albany, detrained and marched the 60 miles cross country to… Read more »

Folks wonder how driveby’s get perpetuated. In this case, I wonder if dear old dad is just showing the kid hoe he used to do it. Parenting in the ‘hood.

The acorn does not fall far from the tree. Dad probably put his son on his knee when he was younger and told him about his good old days in the gang.
