Attaboy Sean.

Yes, indeed…Attaboy Conaboy…and to the others that stepped up to help hold this dirtbag til the popo arrived. In my daily searches for FGS, I see dozens of these type of attacks, on innocent people, where bystanders whip out their phones to record the event, but very few try to help the person being attacked. I’d like to buy Mr. Conaboy a refreshing beverage of his choice.

Mr. Sam Griswold, a CT Yanky, converted his cotton gin factory in Griswoldville, Jones County GA to manufacture this design and caliber for Confederate Service in 1862. It was highly prized and sought after as a weapon, with quality on par or superior to many that were made in Colt’s factory. The brass frames were made from donated Church Bells and such. Thirty six hundred some odd were produced over a 2 year period until ‘Cump Sherman’s Boys came thru on their Torchlight Tour of GA. The entire town (50 some odd structures), with the exception of his home, was burned to the ground. Only thing there now is a few foundations and some historical markers.

It’s common that no one will jump in to help someone if it’s an accident or an assault until one person takes the initiative to help and then everyone who was watching will jump in to help, so BZ Sean for taking the initiative.

Great job Sean, way to take initiative!!

What is with the story? It is very hard to read, since it keeps repeating the same disjointed sentences. Not being an editor of web pages, is this a code issue (not seeing what it looks like until it posts, or is this a copy issue from the original story?

KoB

MI Ranger, to answer part of your question on the articles, other than a small intro, on some of them, the article is posted as written by a copy paste thing. When I find multiple articles of the subject, I try to send to ‘Ed the most coherent one of the choices. However, most of the duplicates on other news feeds are just that, duplicates. The article is presented to TAH just as it is presented to the general public. We have had SEVERAL conversations about the piss poor quality of writings and questioned where are the Editors that allow this to happen. My Business Communications professor, from WAAAAYY back yonder, would not only be cringing at the (lack of) writing skilz, but would be flunking people right and left. Each misspelled word was good for a full letter grade reduction in his grading of papers. And then he would take more points off for syntax, structure, punctuation, clarity, and so on. It is a sad reflection of the education system we have today, the writings of news reports. Lately, we have been struggling to find true FGS as the news feeds seem to be suppressing those types of articles. Citizens standing up to dirtbags does not fit the narrative.

We endeavour to persevere.

The Colt above is an 1861 Navy model in .36 caliber. It looks like an original. Wild Bill Hickok carried a pair of them.
