Space Force Officer Relieved

| May 16, 2021

Some of our usual suspects have forwarded us the ominous tale of how Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, Space Operations Command commander, has relieved Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier of command of the 11th Space Warning Squadron, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado. He was struck by the “loss of trust and confidence in his ability to lead” bus.

The real reason? Usual Suspects send.

Space Force officer relieved of post after denouncing Marxist ideology and critical race theory in military: Report

By Carly Ortiz-Lytle

Lohmeier self-published Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military this week. The book, according to the description, explores the “impact of a neo-Marxist agenda” and the manner in which the “Black Lives Matter movement, anti-racism, postmodernism, [and] political correctness” affect the national security of the United States.

This decision was based on public comments made by Lt. Col. Lohmeier in a recent podcast. Lt. Gen. Whiting has initiated a Command Directed Investigation (CDI) on whether these comments constituted prohibited partisan political activity.”

Department of Defense Directive 1344.10 prohibits active-duty personnel from engaging in “partisan political activities.” Service members are, however, permitted to express their personal opinions on political candidates and issues in their personal capacity and when not in uniform. Lohmeier denied intending to participate in partisan politics.

I see the Space Force is off to a great start crushing the very incipient discussion of the latest Woke policies. Get on board with the program and write only the splendor of the Party Line, Comrade or it’s off to Thule, for the rest of ones short career.

Thanks, Usual Suspects.

Yep, used to be an ossifer got a promotion, or some bling for their uniform, or at least, an attaboy(girl), for writing papers or pointing out where an enemy could come from. Now they get fired?

Heaven help us. Our Republic has not been in this much danger from self serving politicians or politically appointed Military Commanders since 1861. This can make that bloodbath look like a mere paper cut.

Does anyone (else) find it continually odd
that the likes of CNN and other leftwing news outlets
continue to claim that BLM is apolitical,
while BLM makes little effort to hide their political goals,
yet anyone criticizing BLM gets shagged and cited for partisan political reasons?

Meanwhile, don’t get me started on the “too many white pilots” BS.
I have 1st hand knowledge for 4 years now,
that the US military pilot training programs break their backs to encourage and invite minority pilot applicants.

However, the qualifications and training standards will NOT be eased.

More minorities than ever are applying, qualifying, training, and flying than at any time since 1945.
The numbers are indeed growing.
But that won’t satisfy liberal malcontents
who believe a magic button to 23% is out there.

What works in a state capital desk cubicle office
or a federal bureaucracy hallway building
simply does not work in a cockpit.

They do a lot better than the media. Only 7% of those working in the news and 6% of those working as news directors are black. Maybe they should fix that first.

A Proud Infidel®™

But the pasty white liberals they already have are doing the party agenda, thus they’re okay with that.

On your first point, BLM is a master strike of Maskirovka, Soviet deception, and I can’t truly think of any propaganda campaign more successful than BLM. It’s success its based on the principle that you cannot critize BLM without being a racist. It is amazing how successful BLM’s armor against criticism is.

On your second point, the pressure to lower standards can be felt on every field I can think of. I cannot speak for MOSs that are not mine, but at least in the infantry, you can feel the pressure, and I can definitely see the same in most fields of civilian life.

Eventually, I think we’ll be ok, not because we are that great, certainly not anywhere close to our Founding Father’s standards for love of liberty and justice for all.

But all our enemies are far worst, and they are losing the Darwinian Race to Victory. We don’t have to be perfect, just better than our rivals.

There was a time, not so long ago, when hatred of Marxism was bipartisan.

Still baffles me that we have so much support for Marxism in all its forms. There are hundreds of thousands of people here in the US that fled countries with that failed system. It’s not hard to find someone who can tell you how much better we have it compared to where they came from.

See this PragerU video before YouTube makes it “private” for everyone again:

Guess he must not have been “fit and willing”.

Apparently there was a pundit on one of the FOX News sunday shows who says he believes the ChiComs and Putin are just waiting for Gropey Joe and his puppeteers to sufficiently weaken our military to the point where they can invade Ukraine and Taiwan without fear of any serious repercussions from us.

11B-Mailclerk

Probably right before or right after the 2022 election.

Andy

If then.

…and not by (NLT) this time next year.

Taiwan will be a “mostly peaceful” takeover of the semiconductor industry.

Mason

Joe was already at the helm the last time they invaded Ukraine and we did….not much.

rgr769

C’mon man, the JoeBama gang sent them blankets and some MRE’s.

MustangCryppie

Hell! Friggin’ Biden might help the Rooskies and PRC!

Poetrooper

Oh hell yeah, just what we need: a two front war in Europe and the Pacific for the first time since the 1940’s.

Attaway Democrats…

His comments must have been spot on to garner such immediate cancellation.

I have not read this pub, so I’ll not comment on that, but it is interesting how slow the military has been to address gang and marxism/Maoism in the ranks and how quickly they target Liberty.

But, such are the rewards of carefully grooming your appointees.

STSC(SW/SS)

I guess each command will be assigned a Zampolit as to make sure all members of the command follow the party line. If not your evals/fitreps will be lowered and you will be removed.

Creeping communism slowly boiling the frog, again.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

I’m so old that I remember when commies were universally detested as our most pernicious and determined enemies…

Now I see “socialism” being continually redefined in this country by people who know full well the actual meaning so that people who don’t have a clue as to that actual meaning view socialism as favorable.

There is a rather significant difference between a society built around the notion of a free market economy that is taxed to provide plentiful social safety nets, and “socialism” regardless of what some half wits in the media and the Democratic party want us to believe.

An officer who points out the potential for a collaboration between seemingly disparate movements to drive social wedges between Americans while altering social and government policy to weaken the nation to be a communist driven plot seems like an officer we should applaud, not dismiss.

He didn’t endorse anyone in that speech nor did he proclaim one particular party as the only one appropriate for the United States. He stated that these interconnected organizations might be problematic, and in the face of the “fiery but mostly peaceful” protests of last summer along with continued calls for the defunding or outright elimination of policing around the nation he may well be onto something accurate.

I would be all for his removal if he tried to campaign for any individual or party, but simply offering up for discussion the idea of a dangerous subplot to disrupt the security of the nation through fringe political movements is not at all reason for removal and might in fact be well worth our consideration as a semi-free people.

MI Ranger

So looks like the young LTC (who might be of a majority racial ethnic group) could have been fired for overreach by his superiors! Was it LTG Whiting that did the removal or his direct superior? Since they did the removal before the investigation, I see grounds for a law suite…especially since it means the LTC will be getting out of the Space Force soon.

Hack Stone

So, saying that the US Military is infested by Right Wing Extremists is good, but saying that US Military is infested by Marxist Extremists is bad. Does Hack have that correct.

Poetrooper

Hope some of you caught the young colonel on Tucker Carlson a short while ago. He is a VERY impressive young man, obviously highly intelligent, VERY well spoken and movie-star handsome, the kind of young officer you normally would think was being groomed for flag rank.

Instead, he’ll now be headed out the door, but ol’ Poe sees a very bright political future for this courageous young colonel. Remember the name, Matthew Lohmeier, because Poe’s willing to wager we’re going to hear it a lot down the road.

Roh-Dog

The LTC is to speak on his situation tonite….

Roh-Dog

FYI, that video is just a teaser for the full show. My b.
In my defense, it was ‘premiering’ on youtube so I shared before reading the description.
Media wh*res and their catchy headlines!

Poetrooper

His book is already Number One on Amazon.

This young fella is on his way…

Early to major & LTC. A high vis squadron command. On the fast track. A burner. Now it’s shuffled off to desk jobs to mark time.

Any consolation, Lt. Col Lohmeier’s book reached #1 on Amazon sales list.
