Weekend Open Thread
It’s 2 in the morning, you wake up and can’t fall asleep. Then, all of a sudden, the “closet guy” in the photo comes out of your closet and rushes to you. Fright, fight, or something else? Enjoy your weekend.

First!
Hack Stone demands that you be tested for Internet Enhancement drugs.
Have at it. I ain’t even drunk on Miller Lite!….yet.
Damn,
I forgot to refresh and missed it my 1 minute.
LOL, not bad when I’m sitting back at work for the second time in a month.
It looks like I can kiss Covid’s ass goodbye as I may be back in Cubicleville much more quickly and with new mission support than I had in the past.
We’ll see.
Oh and FUCK YOU GUYS, very much.
I’ve got threads to read and catch up on and also, I believe a The Hemisphere of Insults®™ discussion hanging out there to check on
Cheers and have a great weekend.

With Pride and Honors Paid, I, 5th/77th FA, the King of Battle and THE King of FIRST do hereby, forthwith, and hereupon, turn over the Crown and Scepter of King of First of the TAH Weekend Open Thread to this week’s EARNER of the Title to my (CT Yanky) Main Man, Roh-Dog, and offer my Rats of The Cong thereof. Hell of a note that The Gun Bunny has to unass the AO, go outside the wire of Firebase Magnolia, thusly insurring that he would NOT be on the ‘net during the time frame of the anticipated dropping of the TAH Friday Weekend Open Thread. This was done purposely to allay any suspicions of collusion (would like to do some colluding with Ms “G” Thang from the other day), nefarious activities, or insider info on the time frame of the dropping of the WOT. (there wasn’t any, there have been none, and there isn’t…I admit nothing…call my lawer)
Now, Roh-Dog, to me Miller Time is, it is time to pour out that Miller, ice up some Yuengling, give me a bait of that Orasted Beef Beast that Ex-PH2 made yesterday, light my seegar and GET OFF MY GRASS!
With Pride and Honors Demanded, I, Roh-Dog, the Queen of Battle and Usurper of FIRSTS do hereby, forthwith, and hereupon, yank the Crown and Scepter of King of First of the TAH Weekend Open Thread from LAST week’s RECEIVER of the Title from my (GA Reb) Main Man, KoB, and offer my feet for groveling. (JK, I Bidened the heck out of that!!)
Fo-real. Thanks,FA! re the Lites, its the only beer-like bev I can have a bunch of and not get the heartburn. One Yuengie, good. Two, better. Three, tums and a stack of pillows so I can sleep sitting would be in the future.
Have a great weekend, FA, et y’all!!!
Hack Stone would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists in allowing him to claim the highly coveted and rarely awarded First Post Of The This Ain’t Hell Weekend Open Thread for Friday May 21, 2021. And in the unlikely event that Hack Stone is not awarded the highly coveted and rarely awarded First Post Of The This Ain’t Hell Weekend Open Thread, he has a team of lawyers from the esteemed law firm of Bernath & Associates who are standing by to submit a court injunction until such time that an audit of This Ain’t Hell servers is conducted to uncover collusion of vast chicken wing conspiracy.
Meanwhile, despite the announcement from CDC Director Walensky, employees of the proud but humble woman owned business that sells software to the federal government who have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 will continue wearing masks, not to minimize the transmission of COVID-19, but they are embarrassed to be seen entering and leaving the corporate office, and want to protect their identity.
Finally, on this date in 1952, Laurence Tureaud was born in Chicago. He is better known as Mr. T, and he pities the fool who would deny Hack Stone the title of First Post Of The This Ain’t Hell Weekend Open Thread.
Shit! Shit! Shit! Roh-Dog can expect a court injunction preventing the awarding of First Post Of This Ain’t Hell Weekend Open Thread until a congressional investigation determines the level of Russian interference.
Looking forward to the highest level of lawer-ese from Bernath & Associates!
Roh-Dog is willing to yield the WoT crown to Hack but that ain’t the rules.
You better check your driveway for IEC’s (Improvised Explosive Coconuts).
Speaking of The Dutch Rudder Gang, has Dullass been trying to contact anyone lately? If Bernath was any kind of friend, he would have posted some libel about Dullass so that Bernath’s insurance company would give him a few hundred grand.
Na bro, from the law offices of Dewy, Cheatem and How. The outside law firm of Engulf and Devour (their fingers are into everything)
It looks like you will be relying upon the legal skillz of the associates, cuz the founding member of the firm will not be available to make the court appearance to obtain the temporary restraining order. (He is currently detained in Florida at -6 AGL) Such appearance is the first move in your litigation for injunctive relief seeking award of “FIRST” at TAH’s WOT.
Obviously, this is going to be a close case since you and Rog-Dog both posted a 3:03 p.m. You will be needing some highly skilled attorneys and several expert witnesses to opine on how the TAH clock should operate in order to prevail. I am looking forward to an advisory jury trial, as there is no right to jury trial for equitable relief.
Were I still a lawer, I would love to get involved in this landmark case. I could likely learn some impressive legal moves from these Bernath & Associates attorneys.
2nd
Fine…3rd it is!
Well, since this race is now over, pending review from the booth, Hack Stone will go search the internet for a good home made pork rib barbecue sauce. Feel free to stop over at Stately Stone Manor this weekend for beer and ribs.
Scary DOOD like that and I’m awake-ish??
No fright flight or whatever, He’s getting an handful of my 9mm rounds.
With all the range time I’ve had lately, I’d be all like this…
OR, if/when I hit the Lottery, I aspire to this…
(I know this isn’t on Tube of You but this is the only link I have…Book of Face, DAMN IT!)

Looking good, TOW! Thanks for the update.
When finished, the pilot will be standing on the wing root and the radioman will be about to climb in the hatch. Kicking around the idea of including a deck tractor.
Excellent work, TOW.
21st.
The WH: Hey, it ok if we drop migrant kids off in your State?
Tennessee Gov Bill Lee: Nah, don’t want’em. Don’t do it.
The WH: Ugh, ok then. We’ll just fly them in wee in the night without notifying you. Don’t need your permission, Governor. Hugs & kisses.

And each day comes and goes with thousands of innocent plants being murdered by vegetarians, so:
END THE VIOLENCE !!!!!!!!!!!
Where is the Carling Black Label? And the Hamm’s? Of Viet of the Nam vintage.
The above stock numbers are for those beers still active in the inventory. I’m only guessing, but if Black Label and the Hamm’s Bear were ever issued a FSN, they are now inactive and never replaced.
Was helping care for youngest granddaughters (That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.)
Nonetheless: FIRST in the hearts and minds of the grandkids.
More rain in the GB Compound & AO through next week. Pulling in the green beans and some yellow squash, though.Tomatoes putting on. If we don’t get some sun to turn them soon, these cowhorn peppers are gonna be 12″ long and still green. Honeynut squash and pumpkin sending out runners like crazy. Watermelon starting to get into the game.
Hope all you Delta Wiskeys and Delta Wiskeyettes have a great weekend.
Oh, and closet guy? As many rounds of .45 ACP SIG Elite as it takes to make him quit advancing.
Darn … late to the party again! Congrats to Roh-Dog for your FIRST!!! In honor of that achievement (and because it’s Friday), I would like to share this week’s trivia column with you. Enjoy! DID YOU KNOW…? Did playing the bagpipes keep a Scottish soldier from being shot in World War II? By Commissioner Wretched May. The fifth month of the year. It wasn’t always, you know. Original calendars began with March with the first day of spring also being New Year’s Day. That’s why September has its name – it used to be the seventh month. October was the eighth, November the ninth, and December the tenth, all based on numeric prefixes. February was the last month of the year, and got the leftover days of the 365. Blame the change on Pope Gregory XIII, who noticed in 1582 that the first day of Spring had changed over time. He lopped off 11 days from that year’s calendar and moved New Year’s to January 1st. It’s his fault. The trivia that follows, however, is my fault, and I plead guilty as charged! Did you know … … baseball star Babe Ruth (1895-1948) had a rather unique way to keep himself cool during hot summer games? The Sultan of Swat would keep a cabbage in a water cooler, and every inning he’d place a chilled leaf from the plant inside his cap. (He used cool cabbage to earn all that cool cabbage.) … the best-selling fiction writer of all time is a woman? Dame Agatha Christie (1890-1976) crafted 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections over her career. She created the popular fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Jane Marple. Christie herself served as the inspiration for the character of Jessica Fletcher, played so brilliantly by Dame Angela Lansbury (born 1925), in the television series, “Murder, She Wrote.” (Does this make Cabot Cove the murder capital of the world?) … the first American radio “soap opera” was created in 1930? “Painted Dreams” premiered October 20 of that year, and wrapped in 1943. The show aired initially on WGN radio… Read more »

WOW!! $25Million to pat the kiddies on the head and tell them that they are, indeed, very special…
400 Freakin’ employees to pat the kids on the head? Wow, why not just give each student a $100 check and just tell them they’re Speshul??
Score- found a 2011 Ducati Multistate with only 2800 hundred miles, the original owner scared himself with it and never rode it. Coming home this week, gonna were my vest and some patch’s (earned).

With the passing of one MOH recipient this past week, I’m reminded that the 50th anniversary of another MOH recipient’s actions is this Tuesday the 25th of May and appropriate honors for his ultimate sacrifice are warranted.
Hand Salute to MAJ William E. Adams, (Call Sign: CHICKENMAN 6) A Co, 227th CAB, 1st Cavalry Division.
(Mason may expand on this later as part of his Valor Friday series?)
Oops, his unit needs corrected. Should be:
A/227 AHC, 52d Aviation Bn, 1st Aviation Brigade.
Mea Culpa
Hopefully someone will read this, even though the weekend is over because I didn’t want to post off-topic on another thread.
I just want to state for the record that I have a bone to pick with my brethren from the soggy services. I just tried Pusser’s British Navy Rum and enjoyed the hell out of it. You may not be part of Her Royal Majesty’s Navy, but I’m sure the older ones of you have tried this fine elixir. Shame on you for not spreading the word about this smooth, reasonably priced beverage. I’m not much of one for rum, but it is damn fine. It may even make the Bunny of the Gun change his tune with regards to the only football game that matters!🤣🥃
Not to worry Pappy. I have made many a Mint Julep with Prusser’s British Navy Rum and had a tankard or 12 of that fine grog. It ain’t half bad for Limey Juice.
And NO, it does not change my tune with regards to the only football game that matters!
GO US ARMY…BEAT ALL NAVIES!
Just checking, Junior. But indulging excessively in this distilled nectar may explain the propensity for our aquatic brethren to mount aircraft engines upside down!🥃🥃
😛 😆 😉 😀 😛
I KNEW there had to be a reason…now we know!
