Fontana officers fatally shoot man after interrupting home burglary: Police
After interrupting a residential burglary in Fontana, police officers shot and killed a 29-year-old suspect Saturday night, officials said.
Officers were sent to a woman’s home in the area of Justin Street and Heitz Way after getting a report of a burglary in progress.
They arrived to find a man inside the home, and they tried to detain him, Officer Kevin Anderson of the Fontana Police Department said in an email.
The suspect ran from them and a foot pursuit ensued through several neighborhoods.

12-Year-Old Shoots, Kills Home Invader: Cops
Charges against the boy are not expected
By Luke Roney
Police in North Carolina say that a 12-year-old boy shot and killed an intruder Saturday during a home invasion robbery, ABC reports. A 73-year-old resident of the apartment where the attempted robbery occurred was shot by one of the suspects, the Goldsboro Police Department said in a statement, and was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators say that two masked people forced their way into the apartment around 1am, demanded money, and shot the resident, a woman, in the leg, per WTVD. The robbers fled after the 12-year-old boy shot at them in self-defense.Responding officers located Khalil Herring, 19, nearby. Herring had a gunshot wound and is believed to be one of the robbers.

Glad the 12 year old was able to protect his grandmother and himself. Maybe he can also use the two Choirboys for undue stress and anguish!
Sue (as in take to court for financial purposes) not use…I hate autocorrect!
MI Ranger, I think that the Boys at the BTJ&T Deli will USE those choirbois as if they were a boy named SUE. And a score of 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.
Too bad we didn’t really see all this BS coming when that fugly Space Commando Hi Point had a MSRP of $350 back there in Nov ’17? Currently, asking prices seem to be ranging from $479 & up for NIB. They seem to be selling as soon as they hit the store. Maybe all the new Space Force Troops are wanting them as a back up to the Q 36?
If it was offered in .45 acp maybe, but probably not.
Ahem:

I’m guessing you’ll need a bit of luck to find one, though.
And no, I don’t work for or own stock in the company. I just thought I remembered their carbine line had expanded into calibers other than 9mm.
They even have one in pink camouflage. Seriously. (smile)
Tnx
I need to get more often.
What i would relly like to find is Marlin Camp Carbine:

They accept 1911 magazines of which I have a few or two.
Mr Khalil all covered in blood before he DOTed….would he be a red Herring?
The NC story needs a score update.
Instead of 1/0/0, shouldn’t it be 1/0/1? Didn’t read anything about the second perp, other than he (?) ran off.
If I read the linkie correctly, why in the hell did anyone open the door at 1am anyway?
Hi Point……still making the fugliest fully functional firearms that folks like to fire.
Ugly, yes. Fully functional, affordable, and day-in/day-out reliable? Reputedly also yes as well.
IMO an ugly weapon that (1) you can afford, and (2) works every time is far better than even the most beautiful firearm ever produced if the latter fails when needed.
FWIW, and for AW1 Ed: the firearm pictured above isn’t the Hi Point 995 Carbine; rather, that’s the newer Hi Point 995TS. The original Hi Point 995 Carbine can be seen below. If you think the one pictured above is ugly, well, let’s just say there’s ugly and then there’s U-glee:
Hondo,
Thanks. I knew there was a word I was forgetting…..
“Fugly fully functional affordable firearm that folks like to fire”.
And I’m not knocking the Hi Points. I have an older 45ACP, goes BANG every time when three conditions are met: one in the chamber, safety off, pull trigger. Great bedside gun.
I’m just starting to be a gun guy.
Didn’t you just post this the other day in a FGS where a lady defended herself with an absolute looking POS Hi Point?
Well everything I have is nice and clean(well not after yesterday) BUT, they’re new and GOING to be tended as if they were my own children so they will be clean and happy and will work when I need them too and well, you fuckers can drool over this because in a few months….
(IF I can get the corporate folks at Kriss USA to respond to my e-mail and confirm things, because the lady I was dealing with went on maternity leave Friday) so, yes, I should get a free stormtroopers helmet thrown in with the deal.
initial in 45 APC with a 9mm lower thrown in to boot (swappable), Alpine white hence the Stormtroopers joke.
I did ask the folks at the range about it first and a couple of folks said “It’s on my personal list to own.” so…LEO & ML program which just about everyone should be taking advantage of here when you purchase any ammo or firearms when possible.
Happy Presidents Day.
I’m going to go visit my CPA get my taxes done today. How Apropos
