Democrats Gun for Trump Impeachment Part II

| January 9, 2021

Peaceful protest versus terrorism. (thedonald.win)

The Democrats have drafted articles of impeachment against President Trump. They plan to introduce these articles of impeachment next week. They have the numbers needed to impeach him again. The planned charge? “Incitement of Insurrection”. Ironically, there were Democrats who fanned the flames regarding riots over the last year.

From the Articles of Impeachment draft:

Donald John Trump engaged in high Crimes and Misdemeanors by willfully inciting violence against government of the United States in that:

On January 6, 2021, pursuant to the Twelfth Amendment of the United States Constitution, The vice President of the United States, the House of Representatives, and the Senate met at the United States Capitol for a Joint Session of Congress to count the votes of the Electoral College. Shortly before the Joint Session commenced, President Trump addressed a crowd of his political supporters nearby. There, he reiterated false claims that “we won this election, and we won it by a landslide”.

He also willfully made statements that encouraged-and foreseeabley resulted in-imminent lawless action at the Capitol. Incited by President Trump, a mob unlawfully breached the Capitol, injured law enforcement personnel, menaced Members of Congress and the Vice President, interfered with the Joint Session’s solemn constitutional duty to certify the election results, and engaged in violent, deadly, destructive, and seditious acts.

You could read the rest of the articles on this New York Times link. A read of the rest of the document could either be entertaining, or enraging, depending on your mood. They want to disqualify him from running for office in the future. Combine this with the purges on social media, and what the left is saying about all of us, and 2020 could potentially be outdone.

Awesome!! So waste some more of the taxpayers money! What your not giving away to other countries that hate us!

  2. NewsMax mentioned that this was being done so Trump won’t be able to run in 2024. the articles don’t meet the legal criteria for an impeachment and the demoRats know that. They mentioned that the media kept the speech from the low information public unless you watched it on TV.

    • Commissar says:

Newsmax is a propaganda a network that takes cash from foreign governments to push stories that supports their policy agendas with respect to the US. Literally take cash to tell Americans stories that sway American public opinion to facilitate the agenda of foreign actors.

And they employ a Kremlin agent.

It is astonishing you brainwashed fools have convinced yourselves it is your trusted news source.

      • I’ve got to hand it to you Commissar for carrying on with your playing the Devils Advocate Shtick and getting a rise out of everyone. I really believe your hiding your true Conservative values and I really get a chuckle from your comments. Keep it up to keep me laughing.

      • SFC D says:

News flash for ya Commissar. There ain’t no trusted news source, no good socialism, no good communism, and no free lunch. Fraud.

      • Blaster says:

Yeah, they’re almost like cnn and msnbc (NOT)

Have you even read an article from them? They seem to report without bias. You know, like a news organization does.

Kind of like how The New York Times won awards for hiding the genocide that Stalin was carrying in The Ukraine back 1930’s. Stalin got the reporter laid, but it was the Ukrainians who got fucked.

Amazing. You truly are the Cletus Spuckler of TAH.

  3. E4 Mafia '83-'87 says:

Fuck Nancy all the anti-American Democrat Hypocrites (basically all of them) because they were cheer leaders during the last 6 months of rioting. No accountability from that group of scumbags.
This is just another vindictive tirade from that nasty bitch. When the Republicans take the House, they first order of business should be to impeach whoever is in the White House, China Joe or The Hoe, on a Trump-ed up charge.

    • Commissar says:

Riots to demand that blacks are treated equally under the law and in our justice system…

Rioting to push reforms so cops have more accountability and less latitude to extrajudicially executive American citizens on the street….

      VS..

Rioting to overthrow the results of a free and fair election and install a despot.

You would have to be an absolute piece of shit authoritarian personality to think those are the same.

And it says a lot about you that you are for overthrowing an election but against treating blacks people equally under the law and against more accountability and less latitude for cops to kill citizens.

      • 11B-Mailclerk says:

So, you -admit- you put “riot to get your way” into play for all?

        Idiot.

      • Blaster says:

You said before that they weren’t riots they were protests.

      • UpNorth says:

Blacks are treated equally, moron. You ignore the truth regularly. Willie(B/M) gets 15 years for B&E, Ronald(W/M) gets 5 years for B&E, and the left goes nutz, just like you. What the left, and you, ignore is that Willie has already been convicted of B&E 3 times, Felony Larceny once and Armed Robbery once, and Ronald is on his first, perhaps his second, offense. The sentences differ because Willie is what’s known as an habitual offender.
My God, you really must have been one shitty, incompetent deputy.

      • E4 Mafia '83-'87 says:

They were not trying to “overthrow the election.” No, they wanted their voices to be heard, but the censorship and anti-First Amendment crowd on The Left (that’s you) decides whose voice should be heard. That narrative was invented by the Ministers of Propaganda at THE BILLIONAIRES conference of Tech Leaders. The Left (that’s you) has fucked the Black Man since you guys dragged them here in chains. Now, you keep them on The Plantation of Government Hand Outs. Who is against School Choice? The Left (that’s you) because you need the Black Man to remain a permanent underclass to be exploited and heard from only when its convenient for you. Who helped the Black Man in the workplace more than Trump? Certainly not Barry. Joe’s an old school Democratic racist form a border state, so he ani’t helping. No, The Left (that’s you) pretends to help the Black man every four years, then goes back to situation normal after the election. Want proof! Minneapolis, Chicago, Baltimore, San Francisco, and on, and on are Democratic Shangri-La’s except for the Black Man. He’s walled off in ghettos and sent to failing schools and conned into voting for the same corrupt party that put them there in the first place. I notice you’re not outraged at the Black-on-Black carnage that happens nightly in your Deep Blue Havens. Save your disdain of the police because what you don’t about law enforcement I just about squeeze into the Grand Canyon.
P.S. Ther’s only about 4 years’ worth Hilda-beast and The Left (that’s you) saying Trump stole the 2016 election, so save your outrage and hypocrisy for something else.

  6. Commissar says:

Lies and and claimS the election was stolen.

Makes numerous calls to attorneys general to try to convince them to illegally decertify the elections.

Lies to his followers that the election was stolen and tells them to march on the Capitol building.

While his supporters are rioting and laying siege to the Capitol building he calls several senators and tries to convince them to throw out the results of a free and fair election.

While the violence is ongoing and knowing that his claims the election was stolen is driving the violence he tweets an additional claim the election was stolen and releases a video where he doubles and triples down that the election was stolen.

Some of his supporters intended to hold congress hostage, several intended to execute some congress members, and many were chanting that they wanted to hang VP Pence.

And Trump was telling them they were “special” and he “loved them”.

He literally attempted a coup. He attempted to overthrow an election and prevent adult elected president from taking office.

He is the exact kind of authoritarian despot I have been warning you for years he is.

The only thing keeping him from being full authoritarian is our institutions, constitution, our courts, and -to a lesser extent- congress….

An impeachment is not merely justified at this point, it is absolutely imperative.

There has to be consequences for lying about an election and using those lies as a pretext to try to overthrow an election in our republic.

    • 11B-Mailclerk says:

What about the “Russian Collusion” that turned out to be a fallacy, Major Moonbat?

            • Commissar says:

              It wasn’t.

The Mueller report found extensive communications, contacts, and links between Russia and the Trump campaign.

He also documented 10 different times Trump obstructed the investigation. At least 5 sufficient for charges of obstruction of justice.

He handed down dozens of indictments.

The only thing he failed to find was the smoking gun proving beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump was directly involved the the collision.

              Just circumstantial evidence.

And Mueller was prevented by the senate from investigating any of Trump’s finances whatsoever.

            • Commissar says:

And don’t forget two former Russian agents served as campaign managers for Trump.

              Two.

      • Commissar says:

        All absolute bullshit.

We have been voting by mail since before the US Civil War.

Each has a unique code. Which means they were more secure than mail in ballots in previous elections.

Because you don’t like the result suddenly mail in ballots are fraudulent.

Yet you have zero evidence of fraudulent mail in ballots.

        • SFC D says:

We’ve already pointed out the flaws in that claim about mail in voting. Fraud.

“We have been voting by mail since before the US Civil War.“

“ Yet you have zero evidence of fraudulent mail in ballots.”

I have not seen anyone try to find out. We’re just supposed to take their word for it. The republicans were as deep in the BS as the democrats. They all wanted Trump out of their swamp so that they could go back to their selfish and self centered ways. How many of them have been up there for more than 20, 30 or 40 years. Playing games to get rich and not giving a damn about the American people. BOTH of them. Trump actually did care about the people (I feel). Biden ain’t going to do anything for US, Obama didn’t either, Bush very little, slick Willie was too busy getting side action (can’t blame him, I mean look at killery), Bush#1 – not a lot for the people either, too busy on the golf course, while we were in the desert. Some were better than others but Trump is the first one that cared about Americans first.

      • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

“Let the Postal Union handle it.”

FACT: The head of the Postal Workers Union endorsed Biden.

    • Berliner says:

Why are certain states against an independent audit of the ballots? Election observers observe. Hard to do that if you are blocked or made to stand at a distance requiring binoculars or locked outside the building. One party had full access, the other was run out the building in one state. Odd that 6 states shut down processing ballots for the night at almost the same time.

It is said that in one state, there was more verification of a shopper entering and leaving COSTCO with their purchases than a person applying for an absentee ballot. Couple hundred “homeless” registered absentee to vote at a nonprofit organization sans documents? This in a state where it is illegal to register to vote from anything other than their residence.

      • Mason says:

After the 2016 election Trump assembled a task force to investigate the extent of vote fraud. The states stonewalled him until they just gave up.

Somebody profits from vote fraud and it’s likely the people doing everything they can to silence the thought it might exist.

Hey moron, where were you when antifa and code pink were rioting in the same capitol building when the Kavavaugh Supreme Court hearings were going on in 2018?

Where were you when Maxine Waters was inciting her followers to get in the faces of conservatives and Republicans while they shopped malls, ect. and ate at restaurants?

Where were you when the presumptive nominee for Vice President was saying that the violent protests wouldn’t stop and shouldn’t stop until after the election…and even went so far as to donate money to bail out BLM and Antifa members who were arrested.

If you weren’t vociferously condemning the violence from BLM and Antifa, but condemn the recent protest from the right, then you should sit down and STFU. You are a hypocrite.

  7. 11B-Mailclerk says:

This is how we get back to civil discourse? Destroy the opposition so they can no longer oppose?

This is stupid, or it is calculated to generate a real violence not yet seen. Or, maybe finally produce that Article 5 convention that the Feds cannot stop, and which could -really- fuck things up.

I am betting the Donks are “Stupid”, rage-addled stupid, because the wogs simply won’t obey their “betters”.

That is what this is all about. Trump appealed to real blue-collar Americans, without talking down to them, and really did things that bettered the working folks of this nation, and bettered those who aspired to rise to “working”.

And for -that-, they will crucify him. Because he aroused a sleeping giant that -terrifies- them.

And now, on the cusp of a (probably stolen) victory, the Left has decided to fill that awakened giant with a terrible resolve.

Bad move. Don’t do it. Don’t.

    • Commissar says:

How is this destroying the opposition?

And if you want a civil discourse stop lying about a stolen election.

      • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Here’s further proof that you’re little more than a “Useful Idiot” to your handlers Major Moonbat, YOU were the one screeching that the election was stolen from das Hildebeast in 2016 and now you’re part of the crowd parroting that the election can’t be stolen!

        • 11B-Mailclerk says:

Then there is that whole “Bernie had the widespread support of democrats, but the party somehow chose a corruptocrat”. Twice.

      • SFC D says:

There can be no civil discourse if one side controls the means of communication and uses that to control the narrative.

    • penguinman000 says:

  8. Devtun says:

Impeachment has been ridiculously cheapened. Heck, every past president would be subject to Impeachment by today’s rules. I believe House members who vote to impeach w/ Senators who vote to convict, have to resign, and barred from any further service in the U.S. Congress – if the president is acquitted. Everyone needs to get skin in the game.

Also, ‘Hang Mike Pence’ hashtag is trending on Twitter. Wait a minute – what about unity & healing? Nah, Robespierre wants heads to roll.

    • 11B-Mailclerk says:

Both sides are mad at Pence: right for not tossing elector votes and removing Biden, left for not backing impeachment or 25th A removal of Trump.

He is going to be eaten by the Left, I think. He is in their way, and wasn’t sufficiently obedient to anti-Trump.

      • Commissar says:

        Nonsense.

It is true the right is made at Pence. Both factions of the right. And one wants to see him hanged according to the chants they were chanting during the coup attempt.

The only major things the left is pissed off with respect to Biden is he has some outdated pro corporate and pro Wall Street economic preferences.

Also, they think his unity agenda is a fools errand, but understand why he is trying to do it. For now.

  9. Commissar says:

    By the way…,

Trump is no longer functioning as the president of the United States.

He is unhinged and unstable. Unwilling to trust or listen to anyone but his inner circle of conspiracy theorists. Even Stephen Miller is out of the circle. As is Kushner.

His advisors are trying to keep him from doing anything rash before his term is over.

    • The Dead Man says:

    • Devtun says:

  10. KoB says:

Trump’s biggest mistake was not realizing how deep the hatred and fear was of the entrenched power brokers in the Corrupt Government that we have is.

He is not their target…we are. He just got in their way.

The domestic enemies of our Republic will not like the coming storm when it hits. Not if…but when!

    • Commissar says:

Oh, so it was the deep state and corrupt power brokers that stormed the Capitol building using Trump’s completely fabricated claim the election was stolen as a pretext?

      Trying to keep up..,

A day ago you all were trying claim it was Antifa dressed as Trump supporters.

Still doesn’t explain how Antifa and the deep state convinced Trump to lie about the election and make several illegal calls to try to overturn it.

      • The Dead Man says:

Be honest with us you shill, what’s the real fear here? They’re not buying into the fringe right’s conspiracies right?

  11. JustPlainJason says:

I haven’t posted on here in a while, but for real? This is the shit you are posting now? Trump incited a riot because he lost an election. He needs to be removed from office. Go watch this weeks Bad News Network…then repeat until it sinks in.

    • Mike Gunns says:

If you had a modicum of reading comprehension, you could plainly see that Trump did not incite the riot. You are allowed to stand in front of the capitol building and protest. BLM and Antifa did it all summer long, even going as far as to lay siege on the White House.

Out of the 200,000 plus people at the March, maybe a couple of hundred entered the building and a very small portion of them were being riotous. Most of them stayed inside the velvet roped walkways taking pictures, as normal tourists do. It is, after all, the People’s House.

And just so you don’t get confused, I don’t condone the breaking of a few windows and theft of taxpayer’s property from the capitol building.

  12. Stacy0311 says:

Yep, impeach Trump so he’s disqualified to run again.

Because they’re scared shitless of him running against Heels Up Harris in 2024.

    • Commissar says:

Trump is so damn toxic that him running in 2024 would be a gift for the left.

I am more worried about the next malignant authoritarian psychopath you all will rally around…

Considering how far this last circus parade clown coup was this time I am genuinely worried you all with find a competent wanna be despot next time.

      • Hack Stone says:

“malignant authoritarian psychopath”, you’re talking about Hillary, aren’ you? And Joe Biden is so qualified to be President that the mean he served eight years as Vice President took almost year to publicly endorse him. That doesn’t indicate that Obama doesn’t pose the utmost confidence in the fidelities and abilities of Chauncy The Gardener, AKA Joe Biden.

      • SFC D says:

You’re the most glaring example of a malignant authoritarian psychopath in this place. Add in narcissism and a propensity to be a complete ass.

  13. Slow Joe says:

I have been carefully monitoring the Commiessar’s speech codes and comparing it to the principles of the Red Book and the Rules for Radicals, and I suspect he is reflecting the direction the Left is moving towards accusing all those who support the Donald of being “traitors”, and deal with us accordingly.

It seems the Left is trying to redefine American history, recasting themselves as the ideological heirs of our Founding Fathers, while portraying conservatives as traitors.

This is obviously nothing new, but it seems the efforts have been doubled using the Capitol Incident as an excuse to charge all opposition of being traitors to our nation.

    • 26Limabeans says:

      Bless you Slow Joe

  15. Only Army Mom says:

This is how you canonize your narrative – Trump incited the storming of the Capital! It says so right there in the history books, the proof being there were calls for his impeachment!

If anyone should be impeached, it is the Mayor of DC. On Jan. 5th, tens of thousands had already come to the Capital for the rally the following day. Why were the barricades that are routinely deployed, like for Rolling Thunder, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, not employed beforehand? Why did she both not ask for assistance and refuse assistance she was offered by surrounding municipalities and states? Maybe it has something to do with her now agitating for Statehood for DC?

Someone proposed a very interesting theory that I think has merit.
The agitators in the crowd were plants, it was assumed that if the crowd could be whipped into a frenzy by breaching the Capital, the crowd would enmasse follow. But that didn’t happen because this was a crowd of the party of law & order, and when the vast majority learned things had gone too far, when the President they came to support asked, they simply walked away. Enmasse. This is not how the crowds on the other side behave, and it is their miscalculation in assuming Trump supporters would behave like their own supporters.

Now, they have to make as much hay as possible over what didn’t happen and the one awful, terrible thing that did…the thing their agitators made sure happened.

11B – concur wholeheartedly. Maybe because I am at heart an optimist, I am hoping and praying these are all signs of the left overplaying it’s hand and the inevitable backlash is coming. Soon.

Note, I’m not advocating banning it. Generally, I believe the response to such speech as our troll routinely vomits on the page is more speech. Sometimes, such as now, the more effective response is to just ignore it completely.

  17. Ret_25X says:

I’m going to say this because it needs to be stated.

The privileged lefties burning cities and the working class populist right both have some legitimate grievances that have been created by the elite insiders in DC and large corporate board rooms.

The difference? The lefties are wrong about the root causes of their problems. The populist right is mostly correct.

The problem is the scale and power of the federal and state governments. As long as the government has the power to determine who can work, who can’t and when, both sides will have legitimate grievances.

Just like the occupy and tea party era, both sides were speaking to legitimate issues, but the left does not seem to see that there is no longer a distinction between “big corporations” and the government. Our elected leaders at both the federal and state levels are bought and paid for by corporate interests, foreign adversaries, and their shills in media and academia.

There is only one path forward now that both parties have proven their disdain for the citizenry of the nation. That is a new libertarian populist party that can bring those legitimate grievances of both sides (which are largely the same grievances) into focus and provide a slate of candidates who will actually work for the people and not the big dollar daddies suborning our governance.

If we can not do that, we will be a banana republic within the next two election cycles.

There it is. Although I find violent outbursts to be counterproductive, I get why it is happening. The answer is liberty and less government. The core of the problem is so simple, even an Antifactist narcissist can get this–your government is so powerful that big money find it more profitable to invest in politicians than businesses. Period.

If people like Commissar Dumkopf cannot figure this out and keep on demanding more of the same, then we will continue to get more of the same.

And that, my friends, is insanity.

    • 11B-Mailclerk says:

      When the average black city
working person and the average white country working person start saying together, “these grifters on both sides are fucking us all”, the so-called elite lose their minds in panic.

When those folks, and other working folk, start actually getting along politically?

The -last- thing the bastards want is the Proles voting their own interests.

      • Ret_25X says:

I don’t really see it happening. The urban population is so propagandized to believe that they are being robbed by the average person and that the elites are their saviors, I don’t see how that level of socialization can be overcome short of complete collapse.

The working class populists have been ignored or insulted at most by the elites. They will move quickly to silence them now.

As long as the urban poor believe that they are being held back by the rural poor or working middle class, we are screwed.

        • 11B-Mailclerk says:

And how many black working city folks shifted to Trump in 2016? In 2020?

          A bunch, trending upwards.

That is a big part of the elite-panic. That is also why they keep up the “racist” and “supremacist” lies. They absolutely -cannot- allow that alliance of working-class common interest to become politically active for their own interests, as -that- spells the end of “elite” control.

  18. C2Show says:

Good Ole Besig doing what he does best. Post picture like that up there and try to make it seem like BLM or whoever is worse than these “patriots” invading government grounds and evading laws.

They are both the same, you bozo. These “patriots” you keep on backing are on the same level as oathkeepers and other nutcases down in Arizona who were doing vigilante bullshit on the border.

Its not okay Besig, stop trying to give yourself a reason to make Trump’s fanatics actions justifiable.

    • Ret_25X says:

False. The BLM and Antifactists are, in fact, attempting to create a Maoist reset.

They were present in the capitol building as a matter of fact.

The vote results are not honest, as can be seen by running even a cursory Benford regression on the tallies. Which, by the way, is how financial crime is spotted.

While violent outbursts are not productive, it is a false premise to conflate the propagandized left with the disenfranchised populists.

Sadly, they are both pissed about the same root cause, but the inability to see that the major parties are both in on the fix keeps them all agitated and angry.

Your point of view is nothing but self congratulatory BS. You know they have legitimate grievances, but want to pretend otherwise. This is unhelpful and ultimately destructive of the very republic you profess to care about.

No nation can sustain a governmental system run by billionaire oligarchs at the expense of the working class. But here we are, witnessing the greatest transfer of wealth and power from the working middle and lower classes to the elites in history.

King Louis would be so proud.

      • 11B-Mailclerk says:

And thus, those who wish it so want to keep those core Americans at each other’s throats, not at the so called “elite’s”.

Too late. The sleepers have awakened, more each week.

The vote results are not honest, as can be seen by running even a cursory Benford regression on the tallies. Which, by the way, is how financial crime is spotted.

This is the latest attempt to say the election is fraud? Benford’s Law? Come on. No serious statistician believes that. Please, enlighten me, explain why Benford’s Law should apply to election results.

Look, if you’ve got a candidate expecting ~50% of the vote in a district with ~1000 people, the only way they’d get a 1 in the first position is if they got either got 100-199 votes… or 1000 votes. Run that same 50/50 split in a county with ~2000 – 3800 voters, and you will get results likely starting with a 1. So it depends on district size.

Maybe more importantly, and this one is pretty obvious, in any wide split for votes, like 30/70 or so… if one candidate’s tally fits Benford’s Law, the other one won’t. Not without massive third-party influence. It’s just the way the math generally works out.

Yet, every time this stuff gets countered, the conspiracy minded folks just come up with a new excuse. It’s getting worse than the 9/11 Truthers. That conspiracy just involved a few demolitions experts in the US government. This one has everyone from hundreds of election officials across both parties, tons of judges, the DOJ, DHS, Bill Barr, Mike Pence, a variety of state-level Republicans, not to mention mathematicians, imaginary supercomputers, a voting systems company, the ghost of Hugo Chavez, and good god, I’ve probably still only scratched the surface. It’s insanity, pure and simple.

Not remotely likely a legit count.

We criticize other countries for this kind of rigged crap, using these tools, yet it doesn’t apply here? Weird. They say the same, “no we didn’t!”

“Donks cheating” has been a running joke-because-real for 200 years, but now some folks are saying 2020 is the one year Donks -didnt- cheat?

They panicked and went way overboard. It shows. Your “oh no they didn’t” is noted and not accepted.

Stolen. Blatantly. And Donk lies about their clean hands are pretty thin gruel when there is video of bogus counting moves, and no “burst pipe”, and counting after chasing out meaningful monitoring, and a long list that is not going away.

          Stolen blatantly.

Your denials do not fit objective reality.

We are not going to accept the lie that this was clean or valid. The efforts to now destroy the opposition to ensure no further campaigns by the hated foe are a gigantic tell. (Just like those other places we mock and sanction.) If there was truly this majority of opposition, why bother?

Because there isn’t. It was stolen. And both sides know it.

I was present, in person with a ballot in my hand to place
in the ballot box. Everyone there saw me do it.

I am still waiting for Christmas cards to be delivered.
2-3 day priority Mail. Still tracking them on line.
Did anyone get a tracking number for their ballot?

Freedom…no effort required, just mail it in.
            Disgusting.

            • LC says:

Anyone who “mailed it in” is no patriot.

What insanity is this? You have ‘mailed it in’ in quotes, but I assume you mean people who voted by mail? If so, get a grip.

For starters, that would mean your lord and savior, Donald J Trump, is not a patriot. Let alone various other members of his cabinet.

Not to mention the people of Colorado – I guess we haven’t been patriots for years, given how prevalent mail-in voting is here.

Or, country-wide, the millions of people who voted for Trump by mail. Awfully nice of you to simply proclaim, with a waving of your hand, that they’re no patriots.

You must be popular at parties with that attitude.

          • LC says:

Plenty of stats people have pointed out the insanely improbable events, well beyond six sigma each.

And, like that, you move on to the next excuse. How about, just once, you focus on the topic at hand? That’s Benford’s Law, and how it doesn’t work here.

Again, explain to me how both candidates, with a combined effective rate of 99% of the votes (for argument; it’ll vary a bit) could possibly follow Benford’s Law across counties of different sizes.

If one candidate does, the other doesn’t, unless it’s close to 50/50, and the size is in a small range. And that’s simply not true in practice.

Or, put differently, for any county where Biden does fit Benford’s Law, and the split is not roughly 50/50, Trump won’t. Does that prove that Trump cheated? Of course not. This is idiocy, period.

Now, the bigger problem in all of this is that you continue to play whack-a-mole with the disinformation. Instead of arguing a point, you simply move on to the next one, as if that one, now, proves your point. This would be like if some liberal fanatic claimed that Trump is trying to kill all liberals, and cites as ‘proof’ that he shot four progressives on TV the other day. Now, I point out there’s zero evidence of that, and he rants about the media, and everyone knows he did it, and then goes on to his next proof – now Trump has poisoned the water in Hippieville! Oh gosh! How terrible! And of course, I once again point out how that didn’t happen, but unfazed, the fanatic moves on to the next lie.

That is what you do. Whack-a-mole. At some point you should consider that if each of your points is shown to be false, maybe your conclusion is also false.

So, I ask you, are you saying the Benford’s Law thing is still true? If so, show me how. You don’t need anything other than basic fractions to understand this.

If you really want to move on to the next one -this stuff about stats people pointing out ‘insanely improbably events’- I’m happy to deconstruct why that’s false, too. But you gotta promise, first, that when I do, you’ll reconsider your conclusions.

  19. 11B-Mailclerk says:

Oh look. The NeverTrump are now building a list to go after Trump supporters. I guess they decided they are so much the majority of their party that there must be no opposition allowed.

And the Donks and Quislings, benefiting from The Silence, will allow this.

Because they are so sure they won fair and square there must never again be the potential for real opposition to occur.

Next up: highly selective enforcement of existing rules that always favor the insiders, and never the opposition.

Then: new laws to lock in the cartel/insiders, in the guise of “regulating” it.

It is insane to oppose The Party. It is insane to doubt the Party’s word. Where have we seen that before?

  21. 11B-Mailclerk says:

Even liberals can admit that Trump didn’t incite violence or riot. Also that impeachment would be a very bad idea.

For our system to work, at least the major groups have to believe that they have a practical chance to win political contests. Otherwise, they will inevitably turn to non-political means to seek redress of grievances. Which is what is known as “really bad to happen” .

And -that- is -exactly- what hostile foreign powers intend to occur.

So spike the football, hoot and holler, and demonstrate wise governance without vengeance and purges. Show us you were -not- a fraud.

Also noteworthy in that article: yet again statements that some Capitol Police let folks into the Capitol Building.

I really didn’t want to believe that. I am now accepting this is probably true, dammit.
