Thank You, AW1Ed, for remembering our friends of the Jewish Faith during this Holiday season.

I do believe our very own Jeff is of this Faith.

Am sharing this 5 minute video “Bohemian Chanukah”, a Queen (the Band Group) adaptation produced by Six13, a New York-based Jewish all-male a cappella singing group.

Six13 is best known for their parodies of contemporary pop songs, incorporating Jewish-themed lyrics. Like other Jewish a cappella groups, they produce an annual music video to honor the holidays of Hanukkah and Passover. Their Hanukkah songs include “Bohemian Chanukah”, a 2018 parody of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” in which the bridge “Mamma mia, mamma mia” is recast as “Abba, Ima, Abba, Ima” (Hebrew for “Father, Mother, Father, Mother”).

Enjoy…I did!

Thanks for sharing the musical interlude ninja. Enjoyed! Always good to see Friday roll around cause we know that you will make some time for us miscreanted basket of deplorables. You did see the bet for the upcoming (GO) Army (BEAT) Navy Contest, didn’t you? Involves The World’s Best Grilled Crab Cakes (AW1Ed’s Mom’s Recipe) and all of us Victory Celebrators enjoying them there of upon the (GO) Army Mule kicking cloven footed one of (BEAT) Navy Goat.

Thanks, too, to our Brother Sapper3307 for the Aerial Artillery Light Display.

Another Thanks for our Crab Cake Griller, our very own Beloved Aeronautically Designated Squidly Swabbie, AW1Ed for the Holiday Greeting to those of the Jewish Faith. My daughter’s Maternal Family was of the Jewish Faith, and she had the advantage of growing up learning the teaching of Jewish and Protestant Faith. Her children are being raised the same. After all, we all do Worship the same One True God of All.

KoB:

Am playing catch up on reading all of TAH past posts while doing other missions…Will be a bit slow this week, but hopefully, will be able to catch WOT to post 2 music videos, one which reminds me of our favorite GA Guy…YOU!!!!

Am pretty sure I read something hilarious from our other Favorite ROLL TIDE Fan…our own API…I think he posted something about Mrs. API making Fried CALIMARI for the GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY Game this weekend?

https://valorguardians.com/blog/?p=108105

YOU ROCK, API!!!

GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY!

Saw that, and had a blurb with ‘Ed on your “…in addition to your other duties…” mission thru-out this past week. BBQed (smoked in a pit with a dry rub) Goat and Grilled Crab Cakes should make an excellent start to (GO) Army (BEAT) Navy Game festivities snacks. The fried calimari will add a nice crunch.

ninja;
I am of the Jewish faith, and as of this past Monday, 36 Christmas cards went out to LPH 3 shipmates plus an LPH 2 Sailor, 13 Christmas cards went out to friends and 10 Hanukkah cards went out to friends with only one being a Conservative. I didn’t know when Hanukkah was until I looked at the calendar and noticed it was this yesterday so I rushed on Monday to get all the cards out. Since 2007, I have been sending Christmas cards out from the NRA which had a company print them up and found out last year after I called up the NRA that the company gave up doing cards because a lot of people are using the internet for holiday greeting. Had around ten or so left over so I bought a few boxes from Barnes & Noble last year.

Jeff,

THANK YOU for thinking of your Shipmates in sending those cards out!!!

Very cool. Brings back memories, was raised in a heavily Jewish area (one of the local football games was nicknamed the Nose Bowl) and have fond memories… as well as some of tattooed numbers. Black and white? We didn’t know from racial… but knew who would miss practice cuz of Hebrew School.

Happy Hanukkah from Pikesville, MD (I’M SURROUNDED!!) from your favorite GOY!!!

Ah thanks my Dude,
I don’t catch them all and I’ve missed a couple.

I always ask that if anyone sees the The Hemisphere of Insults®™ mentioned in a thread and you don’t see me on it, ding me someplace else when you see me, I’ll get back over and make a determination.

In this case, I’ll be back over to the “Buck Sucks Duck Pucks” thread shortly and bang that bitch out. It always takes some editing to personalize it.

THANKS KoB!!!!!

Waiting on the WOT to drop. Happy Hanukkah to Hack’s Jewish friends.

I sent you this in an Email, Ed, before seeing this.

Ever thought you’d see the day that there’d be open Hanukkah celebrations in an Arab state?

https://www.breitbart.com/middle-east/2020/12/11/watch-hanukkah-celebrated-in-public-in-dubai-united-arab-emirates-for-the-first-time-trump-peace-deal/

Hard to believe what’s changed in that part of the world since Trump came on the scene. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of regression will happen with the establishment taking control again.

ChipNASA

It ain’t gonna happen.

Q and the secret forces and Trump are gonna rip this whole thing a new asshole like opening a rift in the space time continuum.

Wait for it.

Hannukah was never a big celebration in my Sefaradi community, at least not as big as it is in the Ashkenazi communities, but it was observed.

Happy Hannukah!

Slow Joe

I hope you guys understand how many different Jewish communities are out there. The Ashkenazim are over 80 percent of the jews in America, so that’s the Jewish ethnic group that you guys are more likely to be familiar with, but there are many different groups, including the Mizrahim (Middle Eastern Jews), expelled from the Arab states after the independence of Israel, the Falashah (Black Jews), the Bene Manasheh (Asian Jews), and many other groups, with different traditions and ways to observe Judaism. Some groups are really small, like the Burkava and the Cochin Jews, but in total, we are 13 million in the world, half of which do observe Judaism at all.
