POLICE: Shooter at Krystal in Trussville acting in self-defense

TRUSSVILLE — A man has been charged in connection to an incident at Krystal in Trussville, but it was not the man accused of shooting a gun that is facing charges.Trussville Police said DeMarus Daniel, 32, of Birmingham, is charged with assault first-degree and assault second-degree. Detectives said Daniel threw hot grease on two of his co-workers at Krystal after getting into an argument over $10.
Officers first responded to a call about multiple shots fired at the fast-food joint, near the Chalkville Mountain Road and Service Road intersection, on Friday, Aug. 21, 2020. While on the scene, detectives discovered six shots had been fired but no one had been shot.

All these cities that eliminate bail and stop arresting criminals “because not their fault” will now shift to banning guns to solve their “unexpected” epidemics of violence. They will also “redefine” what is happening to hide their culpability. And of course they will need new taxes and subsidies to replace the “unexpectedly” fleeing taxpayers. They will campaign to apply their idiocy everywhere else, because the contrast will be damning.
Oddly, the “definitely not” Marxist-inspired idiocy will have the Marxist result of destroying the middle class, just coincidently of course.
And of course they will blame guns, Trump, conservatives, and anyone else sane.
Just wait. Maybe as early as February will the prohibition efforts begin. Rittenhouse, who dared defend himself effectively with a modern rifle, will be made example.

Video not exactly historically correct but close enough. Shows what a competent, disciplined ossifer, with a nice wheeled gun hand cannon, can do with competent, disciplined, well drilled ARMY Troops against a mob of ne’er do wells!
It would be interesting to measure and compare the performance of any of these 45 cal pistol cartridges when shot out of a carbine (shorter barrel) or rifle (longer barrel) -vs- shot from a pistol.
In general you pick up about 25fps per added inch of barrel. Not a hard and fast rule, as with some cartridges like .22LR you start to lose speed at a point (for .22LR it is at about 15-16″ of barrel.) But for something like 9mm, a short carbine barrel can launch the bullet 2-300 fps faster.
