I lost count of which article came from where, but many of these came from the KoB. I’d like to once again thank him for the help.

Upstate NY mayor busted with crack cocaine after brief chase: police

The mayor of a small upstate New York village was arrested Tuesday for allegedly possessing crack cocaine, cops said.

Massena Mayor Tim Currier was busted after a brief police pursuit through the village near the Canadian border at about 12:25 p.m., according to authorities.

Currier, 55, was targeted as part of an undercover investigation of drug sales and possession, the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office said.

As Currier was fleeing police, he is accused of chucking one gram of crack out a passenger window.

He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, and failure to comply with a police officer.

The mayor was arraigned remotely on Tuesday and ordered by Morristown Town Justice James Phillips to reappear at a later date.

Currier has been Massena’s mayor since 2014. Before that, he was chief of the Massena Police Department.

More mayoral shenanigans;

Kentucky mayor falls asleep on fast-food drive-thru line, crashes into pole: report

A Kentucky mayor was arrested for driving under the influence after falling asleep in a White Castle drive-thru line and crashing into a utility pole Tuesday night, authorities said.

Louisville Metro Police officers found Shively Mayor Beverly Chester-Burton standing outside her silver Cadillac after smashing into a pole as she was trying to leave the parking lot around 11 p.m., the Louisville Courier-Journal reported.

Witnesses said Chester-Burton fell asleep behind the wheel at the fast-food drive-thru line, and even had to knock on her window to wake her up, according to a police report obtained by the outlet.

Cops reported Chester-Burton reeked of alcohol and failed a sobriety test when she couldn’t walk in a straight line.

Chester-Burton, who was elected Shively’s first Black mayor in 2018, told police she had dinner and two apple martinis at 5 p.m., but then changed her story saying she had the drinks at 9 p.m., the police report states.

The mayor was booked into Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and released Wednesday. She’s set to be arraigned on Friday.

Man loses license for driving under the influence … of candy

Here’s one more reason too much candy can be bad for you.

A Perth, Australia, court has convicted a man for driving under the influence … of rum balls.

Tommy Keefe had started eating the treats at a friend’s birthday party and was snacking on them on the drive home when he was pulled over and given a breathalyzer test, News.com.au reported.

He registered a .038 blood alcohol content, which was above the legal limit of .02 for recently licensed drivers, like Keefe. He said he hadn’t realized how potent the candies were.

“I was still eating them, very confident that I was going to pass. Turns out, I didn’t.”

The 44-year-old father of six pleaded guilty and was given the reduced sentence of a three-month license suspension and minimum fine for the August infraction.

“I’m very thankful to the judge for doing that,” he said.

Perth doctor Joe Kosterich told Nine News that a follow-up blood test may have registered under the legal limit.

The stolen car you’re driving runs out of gas? Better call the police for help.

A Pennsylvania man in a stolen SUV called police for help Friday after he ran out of gas and was stranded on the side of the road.

Daniel M. Rizza, 20, called Pennsylvania state police around 5 p.m. after he ran out of gas in a grey Audi SUV, the Altoona Mirror reported. When he was told a trooper would respond, he said he didn’t want an officer to show up and hung up, WTAJ reported.

The SUV was parked on state game land with its hazard lights on when a Pennsylvania State game warden arrived, investigators said. State police arrived shortly after as Rizza was talking to the game warden.

State police ran the vehicle’s information and found out it had been reported stolen in Altoona earlier in the day. Investigators said Rizza waived his Miranda rights and told them he stole the vehicle, the Mirror reported.

Rizza was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, police said. He is in jail on $35,000 bail.

Super Trooper says there seems to be some shenanigans going on in up state New York.

Meowsa.

The crackhead mayor and former police chief will go to prison. The drunk mayor will get a pass, after all she does have 2 special “get out of jail free” cards she can play.

Drunk off rum balls? He either ate a damn tray full or the ratio of rum to chocolate was waaaaaay off.

Seems as if the annulls of LEOs are full of dumbasses that steal a vehicle, run out of gas, and then call the po po for help. That ranks right up there with the ones that bring their dope in to get tested to see if it is any good.

I have a good time hunting for the kinda stories. What with all of the “dem-panic” and the stolen election news, you gotta dig deep!

Bwwaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Thanks Mason!

Massena is right next to the St.Regis indian reservation that straddles our border with Canada. It’s where the drugs and illegals from Canada come through. He was probably involved in that too.
