They fail to understand that if they were in a country ruled by a king, the protest against him would probably get squashed.
We all know that history is replete with examples where protests in a country ruled by a dictator don’t end well for participants.
We also wouldn’t be facing government shutdowns every few months. The US is the only country that shuts down their national government. For some reason though, we never shut down any entitlement programs…
