“These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of men and women.” — Thomas Paine, The Crisis, Intro. (Dec. 1776).

A tragic end to the career of an up and coming young urban entrepreneur. He was just trying to hone his B&E Skilz set when he was cut down in his prime by some entitled homeowner. May he be a shining example of how not to try to advance your career.

One can easily disable the automatic set of the safety by shortening the action rod about 1/8″(or a bit less). It will then not reach the safely, making its use a manual item.
Replacing the action spring on that rod with a lighter one makes it much easier to open quickly. A standard ruger Blackhawk/vaquero mainspring works for this. Disassembly and reassembly is … challenging, however.
